Je suis ton bouclier, ta r\u00e9compense infiniment grande. \u201d <\/em><br \/><strong><em>Gen\u00e8se 15:1<\/em><\/strong><\/p><p>Au chapitre 14, Abraham venait de remporter deux grandes victoires. Il avait d&#039;abord sauv\u00e9 Lot, puis r\u00e9sist\u00e9 \u00e0 la tentation du roi de Sodome. Il avait accompli ces deux exploits gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 sa foi en son Dieu et aux ressources que lui avait fournies Melchis\u00e9dek, roi de Salem, figure du Seigneur J\u00e9sus.<\/p><p>Apr\u00e8s ces \u00e9v\u00e9nements, la parole du Seigneur appara\u00eet \u00e0 Abram, le pr\u00e9parant \u00e0 d&#039;autres types de conflits. Il y aurait d&#039;autres luttes int\u00e9rieures. Souvent, apr\u00e8s de grandes victoires, l&#039;ennemi attaque en exploitant les doutes, les peurs et l&#039;incertitude. Mais nous voyons dans notre verset comment le Seigneur encourage Abram par sa parole, disant : \u201c N&#039;aie pas peur\u2026 Je suis ton bouclier, ta r\u00e9compense infiniment grande. \u201d Le Seigneur voulait qu&#039;Abram s&#039;appuie sur lui, et non sur ses victoires ni sur ses propres capacit\u00e9s. Abram venait de refuser les pr\u00e9sents du roi de Sodome, qui est une image du prince de ce monde. La foi qui triomphe de la peur est une foi qui s&#039;appuie sur la Parole de Dieu ! La parole du Seigneur retentit \u00e0 ce moment et dit : \u201c N&#039;aie pas peur. \u201d C&#039;est la premi\u00e8re fois que ces mots sont prononc\u00e9s dans l&#039;\u00c9criture, mais ils sont r\u00e9p\u00e9t\u00e9s \u00e0 maintes reprises !<\/p><p>Le rem\u00e8de de Dieu \u00e0 nos peurs est de nous rappeler qui Il est : \u201c Je suis ton bouclier, ta r\u00e9compense infiniment grande ! \u201d Il est le grand \u201c JE SUIS \u201d, et Il suffit \u00e0 combler tous nos besoins et \u00e0 dissiper tous nos doutes ! Il a \u00e9galement assur\u00e9 \u00e0 Abram qu&#039;Il \u00e9tait son bouclier protecteur et sa r\u00e9compense infiniment grande pour subvenir \u00e0 ses besoins ! Tel un bouclier, Il est capable d&#039;\u00e9teindre tous les traits enflamm\u00e9s du doute et de la peur qui nous assaillent ! La provision dont Il veut que nous nous pr\u00e9occupions, c&#039;est Lui-m\u00eame ; Il est notre r\u00e9compense infiniment grande !<\/p><p><strong>Ancre du jour :<\/strong><br \/>Mon ami, que te faut-il de plus ?
