Il est temps pour les chr\u00e9tiens d&#039;\u00eatre sel et lumi\u00e8re. Nous y parviendrons non pas en suivant le mod\u00e8le du monde et en nous accrochant au pouvoir, mais en confrontant la culture avec l&#039;amour du Christ. Cela signifie aimer nos ennemis, b\u00e9nir ceux qui nous maudissent, \u00eatre doux et humbles de c\u0153ur, et \u00eatre pr\u00eats \u00e0 \u00eatre pers\u00e9cut\u00e9s pour son nom.<\/p><p data-start=\"782\" data-end=\"1416\">Pourquoi ferions-nous cela ? Par amour pour J\u00e9sus. Nous aimons notre grand Sauveur. Et nous d\u00e9sirons ardemment voir d&#039;autres personnes parvenir au salut. Nous les comprenons car nous \u00e9tions comme eux. Nous aussi, nous \u00e9tions \u00e9go\u00efstes, impies, ingrats et sans amour. Nous savons que les d\u00e9bauch\u00e9s, les idol\u00e2tres, les adult\u00e8res et les homosexuels n&#039;h\u00e9riteront pas du royaume de Dieu (1 Corinthiens 6:9-10). De plus, nous comprenons que certains d&#039;entre nous \u00e9taient ainsi \u2013 mais nous avons \u00e9t\u00e9 lav\u00e9s, nous avons \u00e9t\u00e9 sanctifi\u00e9s. La col\u00e8re de Dieu qui pesait sur nous \u00e0 cause de nos p\u00e9ch\u00e9s a \u00e9t\u00e9 port\u00e9e par Christ sur la croix, en tant que notre substitut. Nous avons \u00e9t\u00e9 justifi\u00e9s au nom de J\u00e9sus (1 Corinthiens 6:11).<\/p><p data-start=\"1418\" data-end=\"2094\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">J\u00e9sus a effac\u00e9 nos iniquit\u00e9s et a effac\u00e9 notre condamnation \u00e0 mort. Que pourrions-nous d\u00e9sirer de plus ? Que pourrions-nous vouloir de plus ? Qu&#039;avons-nous \u00e0 craindre ? Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 son immense amour pour nous, nous renon\u00e7ons \u00e0 nous-m\u00eames, nous prenons notre croix et nous le suivons (Matthieu 16:24). Nous ne sommes plus esclaves de la chair, ni tenus de vivre selon ses d\u00e9sirs (Romains 8:12). Par l&#039;Esprit, nous r\u00e9sistons \u00e0 nos convoitises p\u00e9cheresses car nous avons un amour plus grand encore : J\u00e9sus-Christ. Le monde vit selon la chair, et ceux qui vivent selon la chair mourront (Romains 8:13). Le salaire du p\u00e9ch\u00e9 plane encore sur eux. Nous ne pouvons ni ne voulons participer \u00e0 leurs voies. Nous ne retournerons pas \u00e0 l&#039;esclavage maintenant que le Christ nous a lib\u00e9r\u00e9s. Mais nous appellerons le monde perdu au salut en J\u00e9sus, m\u00eame si beaucoup nous ha\u00efssent pour cela. Nous continuerons \u00e0 montrer le chemin, car c&#039;est ce dont ils ont le plus besoin.<\/p><p data-start=\"1418\" data-end=\"2094\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\"><strong>Ancre du
