Il se leva et attaqua les Philistins jusqu\u2019\u00e0 ce que sa main soit \u00e9puis\u00e9e et qu\u2019elle reste coll\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9p\u00e9e. L\u2019\u00c9ternel accorda ce jour-l\u00e0 une grande victoire\u00a0; et le peuple ne revint apr\u00e8s lui que pour piller.\u00a0\u201d<\/em><br \/><strong><em>2 Samuel 23:9-10<\/em><\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"621\">\u00c9l\u00e9azar \u2013 son nom signifie \u201c Dieu est mon secours \u201d. Il \u00e9tait le fils de Dodo ou Dodai, ce qui signifie \u201c son bien-aim\u00e9 \u201d, et il \u00e9tait un Ahohite, c&#039;est-\u00e0-dire \u201c fr\u00e8re du repos \u201d. Cet homme a fait honneur \u00e0 son nom en s&#039;appuyant sur Dieu. Il est rest\u00e9 ferme quand les autres ont recul\u00e9. Il n&#039;a pas fait de la conduite des autres la norme pour sa vie. Il est rest\u00e9 seul \u2013 mais jamais vraiment seul \u2013 car le Seigneur \u00e9tait son secours ! Il nous rappelle que si la victoire doit \u00eatre remport\u00e9e, ce n&#039;est \u201c ni par la force, ni par la puissance, mais par mon Esprit \u201d, dit le Seigneur (Zacharie 4:6). Sans lui, nous ne pouvons rien faire (Jean 15:5), mais nous \u201c pouvons tout faire par celui qui nous fortifie \u201d (Philippiens 4:13).<\/p><p data-start=\"623\" data-end=\"1102\">\u00c9l\u00e9azar ne s&#039;est pas laiss\u00e9 influencer par la foule, mais a d\u00e9fendu ses convictions et a utilis\u00e9 ce qu&#039;il avait : son \u00e9p\u00e9e. Quel exemple pour chacun de nous, jeunes et vieux ! Pour manier l&#039;\u00e9p\u00e9e avec habilet\u00e9, il faut la conna\u00eetre et la ma\u00eetriser. Notre \u00e9p\u00e9e, c&#039;est la Parole de Dieu, \u201c l&#039;\u00e9p\u00e9e de l&#039;Esprit, qui est la parole de Dieu \u201d (\u00c9ph\u00e9siens 6.17). Nous sommes appel\u00e9s \u00e0 \u201c nous efforcer de nous pr\u00e9senter devant Dieu comme un homme \u00e9prouv\u00e9, un ouvrier qui n&#039;a point \u00e0 rougir, dispensant droitement la parole de v\u00e9rit\u00e9 \u201d (2 Timoth\u00e9e 2.15).<\/p><p data-start=\"1104\" data-end=\"1289\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Un dernier point remarquable concernant Eleazar est qu&#039;il a partag\u00e9 le fruit de son combat, m\u00eame si d&#039;autres n&#039;y ont pas particip\u00e9.
