Si donc je suis le P\u00e8re, o\u00f9 est l\u2019honneur qui m\u2019est d\u00fb\u00a0? Et si je suis le Ma\u00eetre, o\u00f9 est le respect qui m\u2019est d\u00fb\u00a0? dit le Seigneur des arm\u00e9es \u00e0 vous, pr\u00eatres, qui m\u00e9prisez mon nom. Et vous dites\u00a0: \u201cEn quoi avons-nous m\u00e9pris\u00e9 ton nom\u00a0?\u2018\u00a0\u2019<\/em><br \/><strong><em>Malachie 1:6<\/em><\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"144\" data-end=\"465\">Ayant perdu de vue l&#039;amour de Dieu, le peuple oublia sa grandeur et m\u00e9prisa son nom. Malachie 1:6\u20132:9 s&#039;adresse pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment aux pr\u00eatres, qui auraient d\u00fb enseigner au peuple \u00e0 honorer le caract\u00e8re et la r\u00e9putation de Dieu. Au lieu de cela, ils leur accord\u00e8rent peu d&#039;importance.<\/p><p data-start=\"467\" data-end=\"746\">Le nom du Seigneur repr\u00e9sente tout ce qu&#039;Il est : Ses attributs, Sa divinit\u00e9 et Sa majest\u00e9. Malachie a utilis\u00e9 cette expression. <em data-start=\"577\" data-end=\"588\">\u201c Mon nom \u201d<\/em> au moins huit fois pour convaincre les pr\u00eatres de leur n\u00e9gligence. Lorsqu&#039;ils ont demand\u00e9, <em data-start=\"668\" data-end=\"711\">\u201c En quoi avons-nous m\u00e9pris\u00e9 Ton nom ? \u201d<\/em> Malachie leur r\u00e9pondit de deux mani\u00e8res.<\/p><p data-start=\"748\" data-end=\"994\">Tout d\u2019abord, les pr\u00eatres offraient au Seigneur ce que l\u2019on pourrait appeler \u201c les restes \u201d (Malachie 1:6-14). Ils apportaient des animaux malades et boiteux, des offrandes qu\u2019ils n\u2019auraient m\u00eame pas pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es \u00e0 leur gouverneur. Comment pouvaient-ils oser offrir de telles offrandes au Seigneur ?<\/p><p data-start=\"996\" data-end=\"1477\">Avant de les juger trop s\u00e9v\u00e8rement, examinons notre propre vie. Y a-t-il des domaines o\u00f9 nous offrons au Seigneur nos restes ? Accordons-nous \u00e0 son nom une valeur insignifiante ? Il est facile de lui consacrer le dimanche \u2013 et peut-\u00eatre un soir en semaine \u2013 mais le Seigneur d\u00e9sire que nous nous offrions \u00e0 lui comme des sacrifices vivants, saints et agr\u00e9ables \u00e0 ses yeux, chaque jour de notre vie (Romains 12:1). Nous oublions facilement que chaque aspect de notre vie doit honorer son nom.<\/p><p data-start=\"1479\" data-end=\"1761\">Deuxi\u00e8mement, ces pr\u00eatres s&#039;accaparaient les meilleurs avantages. Ils avaient oubli\u00e9 le privil\u00e8ge d&#039;\u00eatre les repr\u00e9sentants de Dieu et s&#039;\u00e9taient d\u00e9tourn\u00e9s de sa loi (Malachie 2:1-9). Malachie 2:5-7 \u00e9nonce six qualit\u00e9s essentielles pour quiconque d\u00e9sire repr\u00e9senter Dieu fid\u00e8lement.<\/p><p data-start=\"1763\" data-end=\"2448\">Premi\u00e8rement, il nous faut une crainte r\u00e9v\u00e9rencieuse du Seigneur. Lorsque nous la perdons, notre lumi\u00e8re s&#039;affaiblit et notre influence dans un monde obscur est grandement r\u00e9duite. Deuxi\u00e8mement, nous devons conna\u00eetre la v\u00e9rit\u00e9 et la proclamer. L&#039;\u00c9criture nous exhorte \u00e0 nous pr\u00e9senter devant Dieu comme des ouvriers qui n&#039;ont pas \u00e0 rougir, qui dispensent droitement la parole de v\u00e9rit\u00e9 et qui pr\u00eachent fid\u00e8lement la Parole (2 Timoth\u00e9e 2.15 ; 4.2). Troisi\u00e8mement, nous sommes appel\u00e9s \u00e0 nous d\u00e9tourner du p\u00e9ch\u00e9 et \u00e0 nous en tenir \u00e9loign\u00e9s. <em data-start=\"2217\" data-end=\"2245\">\u201c Fuyez aussi les d\u00e9sirs de la jeunesse \u201d<\/em> (2 Timoth\u00e9e 2:22). Quatri\u00e8mement, nous devons marcher chaque jour avec Dieu dans sa Parole et dans la pri\u00e8re. Cinqui\u00e8mement, nous devons conduire les autres \u00e0 Christ, et non \u00e0 nous-m\u00eames. Sixi\u00e8mement, nous ne devons jamais oublier que nous sommes les messagers du Seigneur.<\/p><p data-start=\"2450\" data-end=\"2657\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\"><strong>Ancre du jour :<\/strong><br \/>Les pr\u00eatres du temps de Malachie ont failli \u00e0 ces responsabilit\u00e9s essentielles et ont d\u00e9shonor\u00e9 Dieu.
