\u201c Abraham leva alors les yeux et vit, derri\u00e8re lui, un b\u00e9lier pris par les cornes dans un buisson. Il alla donc le prendre et l\u2019offrit en holocauste \u00e0 la place de son fils. \u201d<\/em>
Gen\u00e8se 22:13<\/strong><\/em><\/p>

Dans le chapitre 22 de la Gen\u00e8se, nous lisons le r\u00e9cit bien connu d'Abraham emmenant son fils bien-aim\u00e9 Isaac sur la montagne pour l'adorer. Abraham portait le feu et Isaac le bois, mais ils n'avaient pas d'agneau. Dieu avait ordonn\u00e9 \u00e0 Abraham d'offrir son fils en sacrifice, une \u00e9preuve pour sa foi, son ob\u00e9issance et son amour envers Dieu.<\/p>

Au verset 7, Isaac demande, \u201c O\u00f9 est l\u2019agneau pour l\u2019holocauste ? \u201d<\/em><\/p>

C\u2019est la premi\u00e8re fois dans la Bible que le mot \u201c agneau \u201d appara\u00eet ! On imagine ais\u00e9ment combien cette question a touch\u00e9 Abraham lorsqu\u2019il a r\u00e9pondu :, \u201c Mon fils, Dieu pourvoira lui-m\u00eame \u00e0 l\u2019agneau pour l\u2019holocauste. \u201d<\/em><\/p>

Isaac posa la question, et Jean-Baptiste y r\u00e9pondit des ann\u00e9es plus tard, d\u00e9clarant\u00a0:<\/p>

\u201cVoici l\u2019Agneau de Dieu qui enl\u00e8ve le p\u00e9ch\u00e9 du monde !\u201d<\/em> Jean 1:29<\/p><\/blockquote>

Alors qu\u2019Abraham d\u00e9posait Isaac sur l\u2019autel et levait le couteau, pr\u00eat \u00e0 le planter dans le fils de son amour, l\u2019Ange du Seigneur l\u2019appela du ciel et dit\u00a0:, \u201c Abraham, Abraham ! \u201d<\/em><\/p>

Il a r\u00e9pondu, \u201c"Me voici."\u201d<\/em><\/p>

Et l'Ange dit :<\/p>

\u201c Ne porte pas la main sur l\u2019enfant et ne lui fais rien ; car maintenant je sais que tu crains Dieu, puisque tu ne m\u2019as pas refus\u00e9 ton fils, ton unique fils. \u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>

Abraham leva les yeux et aper\u00e7ut derri\u00e8re lui un b\u00e9lier pris par les cornes dans un buisson. Il prit alors le b\u00e9lier et l'offrit en holocauste \u00e0 la place de son fils.<\/p>

Abraham appela alors ce lieu \u00ab\u00a0Le Seigneur pourvoira\u00a0\u00bb, comme on le dit encore aujourd\u2019hui\u00a0: \u201c Sur la montagne du Seigneur, cela sera pourvu. \u201d<\/em><\/p>

Pour Isaac, il y eut un substitut, pris au pi\u00e8ge des \u00e9pines par sa force. Ceci nous rappelle que, par la force de son amour et de son ob\u00e9issance parfaits, le Seigneur J\u00e9sus a vaincu le p\u00e9ch\u00e9, la mort et le tombeau. Il \u00e9tait notre substitut.<\/p>

L\u2019holocauste symbolise la gloire du P\u00e8re, et le b\u00e9lier sacrificiel repr\u00e9sente notre r\u00e9demption\u00a0:<\/p>

\u201c\u2026sachant que vous n\u2019avez pas \u00e9t\u00e9 rachet\u00e9s par des choses corruptibles, comme l\u2019argent ou l\u2019or\u2026 mais par le sang pr\u00e9cieux de Christ, comme d\u2019un agneau sans d\u00e9faut et sans tache.\u201d <\/em>1 Pierre 1:18-19<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>

\u201c Car Christ aussi a souffert une fois pour toutes pour les p\u00e9ch\u00e9s, lui le juste pour les injustes, afin de nous amener \u00e0 Dieu\u2026 \u201d <\/em>1 Pierre 3:18<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>
