Nous ne pouvons progresser en tant que chr\u00e9tiens sans \u00eatre dans ce Livre et sans que ce Livre soit en nous.<\/p><p data-start=\"438\" data-end=\"697\">Poste d\u00e9clar\u00e9, <em data-start=\"452\" data-end=\"577\">\u201c Je ne me suis pas \u00e9cart\u00e9 du commandement de ses l\u00e8vres ; j\u2019ai ch\u00e9ri les paroles de sa bouche plus que ma nourriture n\u00e9cessaire. \u201d<\/em> (Job 23:12). Le psalmiste a dit\u00a0:, <em data-start=\"610\" data-end=\"683\">\u201c Ta parole, je la serre dans mon c\u0153ur, afin de ne pas p\u00e9cher contre toi. \u201d<\/em> (Ps. 119:11).<\/p><p data-start=\"699\" data-end=\"783\">Notre attitude envers ce Livre d\u00e9terminera la croissance spirituelle de chacun d&#039;entre nous.<\/p><p data-start=\"785\" data-end=\"1208\">William Tyndale a donn\u00e9 sa vie pour ce Livre lorsqu&#039;il a \u00e9t\u00e9 br\u00fbl\u00e9 vif pour avoir d\u00e9fendu la v\u00e9rit\u00e9 contenue dans la Bible. Il est mort \u00e0 l&#039;\u00e2ge de quarante-deux ans seulement, le 6 octobre 1536. Ses derni\u00e8res paroles \u00e9taient en partie une citation du Psaume 119:18.<em data-start=\"1028\" data-end=\"1090\">\u201cOuvre mes yeux, afin que je puisse contempler les merveilles de ta loi.\u201d<\/em>\u2014sauf que Tyndale a pri\u00e9, <em data-start=\"1119\" data-end=\"1208\">\u201cOuvre les yeux du roi d\u2019Angleterre, afin qu\u2019il puisse voir les merveilles de ta loi.\u201d<\/em><\/p><p data-start=\"1210\" data-end=\"1475\">Sa pri\u00e8re fut exauc\u00e9e deux ans plus tard lorsque le roi Henri VIII ordonna que la Bible traduite par Miles Coverdale soit utilis\u00e9e dans toutes les paroisses d&#039;Angleterre. La Bible de Coverdale \u00e9tait largement inspir\u00e9e des travaux de William Tyndale, et en 1539, la Bible de Tyndale fut publi\u00e9e.<\/p><p data-start=\"1477\" data-end=\"1515\">Quelle est notre attitude envers la Bible ?<\/p><p data-start=\"1517\" data-end=\"1874\">Le psalmiste a dit, <em data-start=\"1536\" data-end=\"1593\">\u201c Ta parole est une lampe \u00e0 mes pieds et une lumi\u00e8re sur mon sentier. \u201d<\/em> (Ps. 119:105). Dans le Psaume 19, nous d\u00e9couvrons clairement l&#039;attitude de David envers la Parole de Dieu. Lisez ce psaume et remarquez qu&#039;il mentionne six titres pour d\u00e9signer la Parole de Dieu, six descriptions de sa nature et six effets de son action. Il est instructif de voir comment le psalmiste expose ces v\u00e9rit\u00e9s.<\/p><p data-start=\"2632\" data-end=\"2826\">Nous devons avoir la m\u00eame attitude envers les \u00c9critures que J\u00e9r\u00e9mie.
