Car Dieu a tant aim\u00e9 le monde qu'il a donn\u00e9 son Fils unique, afin que quiconque croit en lui ne p\u00e9risse point, mais qu'il ait la vie \u00e9ternelle.

<\/em><\/p>

En cette p\u00e9riode de l'ann\u00e9e, les centres commerciaux sont bond\u00e9s de gens qui ach\u00e8tent des cadeaux pour leurs proches. Dans toute cette agitation, il est bon de s'arr\u00eater un instant et de se souvenir du plus pr\u00e9cieux des cadeaux\u00a0: un don qui ne s'ach\u00e8te pas, mais qui est offert gratuitement et partag\u00e9 avec nous\u00a0: le don du Fils bien-aim\u00e9 de Dieu. Paul d\u00e9clare\u00a0:, \u201c Rendons gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 Dieu pour son don indescriptible ! \u201d<\/em> (2 Corinthiens 9:15).<\/p>

Prendre le temps de r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir \u00e0 ce merveilleux cadeau peut nous aider \u00e0 retrouver une perspective plus juste dans notre vie quotidienne. Il est bon de se souvenir de ces mots\u00a0:
\u201c Que dirons-nous donc de ces choses ? Si Dieu est pour nous, qui sera contre nous ? Lui qui n\u2019a pas \u00e9pargn\u00e9 son propre Fils, mais l\u2019a livr\u00e9 pour nous tous, comment ne nous donnerait-il pas aussi tout avec lui ? \u201d<\/em> (Romains 8:31\u201332).<\/p>

Si Dieu a pourvu \u00e0 notre plus grand besoin \u2013 le salut \u2013 par le don de son Fils, ne pourvoira-t-il pas aussi \u00e0 tous nos autres besoins\u00a0? Bien s\u00fbr que oui\u00a0! Mais, tout comme pour notre salut, nous devons lui faire confiance. La c\u00e9l\u00e9bration de la naissance de notre Sauveur nous rappelle constamment de faire confiance \u00e0 notre P\u00e8re aimant, qui a envoy\u00e9 son Fils donner sa vie en ran\u00e7on pour nous sur la Croix. Ce m\u00eame Fils si\u00e8ge maintenant \u00e0 la droite du P\u00e8re comme notre Pr\u00eatre et notre Sauveur bien-aim\u00e9, et un jour il sera r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 comme le Roi des rois et le Seigneur des seigneurs.<\/p>

M\u00e9diter sur ce don nous aide \u00e0 vivre fid\u00e8lement au quotidien dans un monde sombre et d\u00e9routant. Paul l'exprime magnifiquement\u00a0:
\u201c Car la gr\u00e2ce de Dieu, source de salut pour tous les hommes, a \u00e9t\u00e9 manifest\u00e9e. Elle nous enseigne \u00e0 renoncer \u00e0 l\u2019impi\u00e9t\u00e9 et aux convoitises mondaines, et \u00e0 vivre dans le si\u00e8cle pr\u00e9sent selon la sagesse, la justice et la pi\u00e9t\u00e9, en attendant la bienheureuse esp\u00e9rance et la manifestation de la gloire de notre grand Dieu et Sauveur J\u00e9sus-Christ, qui s\u2019est donn\u00e9 lui-m\u00eame pour nous, afin de nous racheter de toute iniquit\u00e9 et de se purifier un peuple qui lui appartienne, z\u00e9l\u00e9 pour les bonnes \u0153uvres. \u201d<\/em> (Tite 2:11\u201314).<\/p>

Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ce don, nous pouvons vivre aujourd\u2019hui avec l\u2019espoir de demain \u2013 un espoir qui nous oriente vers le retour de Celui qui est venu la premi\u00e8re fois comme un enfant dans une cr\u00e8che, et qui reviendra, non pas dans l\u2019humilit\u00e9, mais dans la gloire, en Roi victorieux.<\/p>
