Il signifie \u201c r\u00e9v\u00e9ler ce qui \u00e9tait cach\u00e9 ou dissimul\u00e9 \u201d ou \u201c faire conna\u00eetre ce qui \u00e9tait auparavant inconnu \u201d. Jean l&#039;emploie au moins quatre fois en r\u00e9f\u00e9rence \u00e0 l&#039;incarnation du Seigneur J\u00e9sus-Christ.<\/p><p data-start=\"574\" data-end=\"894\">D\u2019apr\u00e8s notre verset, nous comprenons que lorsque le Seigneur J\u00e9sus-Christ s\u2019est fait homme, la vie \u00e9ternelle \u2013 qui \u00e9tait aupr\u00e8s du P\u00e8re \u2013 a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9e. Prenons un moment pour m\u00e9diter sur cette v\u00e9rit\u00e9. En consid\u00e9rant cette vie \u00e9ternelle manifest\u00e9e, nous devons nous poser la question suivante\u00a0: <em data-start=\"827\" data-end=\"833\">Pourquoi?<\/em> Pourquoi J\u00e9sus est-il venu dans ce monde pour manifester la vie \u00e9ternelle ?<\/p><p data-start=\"896\" data-end=\"944\">La r\u00e9ponse est simple : parce que c&#039;\u00e9tait n\u00e9cessaire.<\/p><p data-start=\"946\" data-end=\"1480\">Dans Matthieu 4:16, le Seigneur J\u00e9sus a cit\u00e9 Isa\u00efe 9:2, disant\u00a0:, <em data-start=\"1005\" data-end=\"1139\">\u201c Le peuple qui \u00e9tait assis dans les t\u00e9n\u00e8bres a vu une grande lumi\u00e8re, et sur ceux qui \u00e9taient assis dans la r\u00e9gion et l&#039;ombre de la mort, la lumi\u00e8re a resplendi. \u201d<\/em> Isa\u00efe a \u00e9crit \u00e0 l&#039;origine, <em data-start=\"1165\" data-end=\"1203\">\u201c Le peuple qui marchait dans les t\u00e9n\u00e8bres. \u201d<\/em> Il n&#039;y a pas de contradiction ici. Le Seigneur J\u00e9sus a soulign\u00e9 notre position \u2014 nous <em data-start=\"1278\" data-end=\"1283\">assis<\/em> dans les t\u00e9n\u00e8bres \u2014 tandis qu&#039;Isa\u00efe insistait sur notre pratique ou notre conduite \u2014 nous <em data-start=\"1347\" data-end=\"1355\">marchait<\/em> Dans les t\u00e9n\u00e8bres. Nous sommes p\u00e9cheurs par nature et par nos actes, et \u00e0 cause de notre \u00e9tat de perdition, nous \u00e9tions plong\u00e9s dans les t\u00e9n\u00e8bres les plus profondes.<\/p><p data-start=\"1482\" data-end=\"1840\">Ces t\u00e9n\u00e8bres sont illustr\u00e9es par la neuvi\u00e8me plaie d&#039;\u00c9gypte (Exode 10:21), o\u00f9 l&#039;on lit que les t\u00e9n\u00e8bres que Dieu envoya sur le pays \u00e9taient si \u00e9paisses qu&#039;on pouvait les sentir. Ceci symbolise l&#039;humanit\u00e9 perdue dans le p\u00e9ch\u00e9. Satan est d\u00e9crit comme le prince des t\u00e9n\u00e8bres (\u00c9ph\u00e9siens 6:12), et l&#039;enfer comme un lieu de t\u00e9n\u00e8bres ext\u00e9rieures (Matthieu 8:12 ; 22:13 ; 25:30).<\/p><p data-start=\"1842\" data-end=\"2128\">L&#039;\u00c9criture nous rappelle que <em data-start=\"1868\" data-end=\"1917\">\u201c Dieu est lumi\u00e8re et il n\u2019y a en lui aucune obscurit\u00e9. \u201d<\/em> (1 Jean 1:5). Lorsque le Seigneur J\u00e9sus est venu au monde, nous lisons\u00a0:, <em data-start=\"1982\" data-end=\"2114\">\u201c En lui \u00e9tait la vie, et la vie \u00e9tait la lumi\u00e8re des hommes. La lumi\u00e8re brille dans les t\u00e9n\u00e8bres, et les t\u00e9n\u00e8bres ne l\u2019ont pas comprise. \u201d<\/em> (Jean 1:4\u20135).<\/p><p data-start=\"2130\" data-end=\"2443\">Lorsque le Seigneur J\u00e9sus est entr\u00e9 dans le temps, la vie de Dieu s&#039;est manifest\u00e9e. Comme Jean le d\u00e9clare plus tard, <em data-start=\"2225\" data-end=\"2428\">\u201c Nous savons que le Fils de Dieu est venu et nous a donn\u00e9 l\u2019intelligence pour conna\u00eetre le V\u00e9ritable ; et nous sommes dans le V\u00e9ritable, en son Fils J\u00e9sus-Christ. C\u2019est lui qui est le Dieu v\u00e9ritable et la vie \u00e9ternelle. \u201d<\/em> (1 Jean 5:20).<\/p><p data-start=\"2445\" data-end=\"2686\"><strong>Ancre du jour :<\/strong><br \/>L&#039;invisible est devenu visible. Dieu, jusqu&#039;alors inaccessible, s&#039;est approch\u00e9 de nous lorsque la vie \u00e9ternelle a \u00e9t\u00e9 manifest\u00e9e en Christ.
