Ils lui apport\u00e8rent des pr\u00e9sents dignes d&#039;un roi, car \u201c ils se prostern\u00e8rent et l&#039;ador\u00e8rent. Puis ils ouvrirent leurs tr\u00e9sors et lui offrirent en pr\u00e9sent de l&#039;or, de l&#039;encens et de la myrrhe. \u201d Ces pr\u00e9sents sont charg\u00e9s de sens et nous r\u00e9v\u00e8lent ce qu&#039;est la v\u00e9ritable adoration.<\/p><p data-start=\"815\" data-end=\"1173\"><strong data-start=\"815\" data-end=\"823\">Or<\/strong> L&#039;or est un m\u00e9tal pr\u00e9cieux, symbole de royaut\u00e9 et de divinit\u00e9. Mentionn\u00e9 \u00e0 maintes reprises dans les \u00c9critures, il \u00e9tait abondamment utilis\u00e9 dans le tabernacle, puis dans le temple. L&#039;or \u00e9tait associ\u00e9 \u00e0 la royaut\u00e9, \u00e0 la gloire et \u00e0 la justice. L&#039;or offert au Seigneur J\u00e9sus symbolise sa royaut\u00e9, sa nature divine et sa gloire, Dieu incarn\u00e9.<\/p><p data-start=\"1175\" data-end=\"1566\"><strong data-start=\"1175\" data-end=\"1191\">Encens<\/strong> L&#039;encens \u00e9tait un parfum pr\u00e9cieux obtenu en incisant l&#039;\u00e9corce d&#039;un arbre pour en laisser s&#039;\u00e9couler la r\u00e9sine. Il \u00e9tait utilis\u00e9 lors des c\u00e9r\u00e9monies religieuses et de certaines processions royales. L&#039;encens symbolise la saintet\u00e9 et la justice, parfaitement illustr\u00e9es dans la vie du Seigneur J\u00e9sus. Il \u00e9voque \u00e9galement sa volont\u00e9 de s&#039;offrir enti\u00e8rement \u00e0 Dieu, comme un holocauste qui lui est totalement consacr\u00e9.<\/p><p data-start=\"1568\" data-end=\"1894\"><strong data-start=\"1568\" data-end=\"1577\">Myrrhe<\/strong> La myrrhe \u00e9tait une \u00e9pice souvent m\u00e9lang\u00e9e au vin et utilis\u00e9e comme anesth\u00e9siant, comme en t\u00e9moigne Marc 15:23 o\u00f9 elle fut offerte au Seigneur J\u00e9sus sur la croix. Elle servait \u00e9galement \u00e0 la pr\u00e9paration du corps pour l&#039;inhumation, comme le mentionne Jean 19:39. La myrrhe symbolise l&#039;amertume, la souffrance et l&#039;affliction, pr\u00e9figurant la souffrance et la mort du Christ.<\/p><p data-start=\"1896\" data-end=\"2160\">Lorsque nous adorons le Seigneur J\u00e9sus, que ce soit en priv\u00e9 ou en public, qu&#039;est-ce que nous lui offrons ? Venons-nous avec des pens\u00e9es sur sa grandeur et sa gloire, des r\u00e9flexions sur sa beaut\u00e9 et sa valeur inestimable aux yeux du P\u00e8re, ou des m\u00e9ditations sur ses souffrances sur la croix en tant qu&#039;Agneau de Dieu ?<\/p><p data-start=\"2162\" data-end=\"2418\">Qu\u2019offrons-nous \u00e0 notre Seigneur dans notre vie quotidienne\u00a0? Lui offrons-nous notre amour, notre ob\u00e9issance, nos louanges, notre adoration, notre g\u00e9n\u00e9rosit\u00e9, notre temps, nos actions de gr\u00e2ce et notre confiance\u00a0?
