Un seul ange apporta la nouvelle, mais une multitude d&#039;anges r\u00e9pondit \u00e0 cette glorieuse annonce. Leur message \u00e9tait double\u00a0: gloire \u00e0 Dieu et paix sur la terre. Cette multitude c\u00e9leste rendit gloire \u00e0 Dieu au plus haut des cieux, c&#039;est-\u00e0-dire au ciel. Et sur la terre, \u00e0 l&#039;autre extr\u00e9mit\u00e9 du spectre, ils proclam\u00e8rent la paix parmi les hommes.<\/p><p data-start=\"785\" data-end=\"1297\">Examinons le premier de ces deux th\u00e8mes : la gloire \u00e0 Dieu.<\/p><p data-start=\"785\" data-end=\"1297\">La naissance du Seigneur J\u00e9sus a glorifi\u00e9 Dieu car elle annon\u00e7ait une vie qui glorifierait un Dieu saint et juste. Lorsque le p\u00e9ch\u00e9 est entr\u00e9 dans le monde par la d\u00e9sob\u00e9issance d&#039;un seul homme, la mort et le p\u00e9ch\u00e9 se sont r\u00e9pandus sur toute l&#039;humanit\u00e9, car tous ont p\u00e9ch\u00e9 et sont priv\u00e9s de la gloire de Dieu (Romains 5.12 ; 3.23). Le p\u00e9ch\u00e9, sous toutes ses formes, est une atteinte \u00e0 la saintet\u00e9 et \u00e0 la gloire de Dieu ; ses yeux sont trop purs \u201c pour voir le mal, et ne peuvent contempler l&#039;iniquit\u00e9 \u201d (Habacuc 1.13).<\/p><p data-start=\"1299\" data-end=\"1962\">Pourtant, dans le c\u0153ur de Dieu, avant m\u00eame la cr\u00e9ation du monde, existait d\u00e9j\u00e0 un plan pour r\u00e9soudre le probl\u00e8me du p\u00e9ch\u00e9. Lorsque les temps furent accomplis, Dieu envoya son Fils (Galates 4.4) pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment dans ce but. \u00c0 l&#039;\u00e2ge de douze ans, le Seigneur J\u00e9sus pouvait dire\u00a0: \u201c\u00a0Ne saviez-vous pas qu&#039;il me fallait \u00eatre au service de mon P\u00e8re\u00a0?\u00a0\u201d (Luc 2.49). Au puits de Sychar, il dit \u00e0 ses disciples\u00a0: \u201c\u00a0Ma nourriture est de faire la volont\u00e9 de celui qui m&#039;a envoy\u00e9 et d&#039;accomplir son \u0153uvre\u00a0\u201d (Jean 4.34). En Jean 5.30, nous l&#039;entendons dire\u00a0: \u201c\u00a0Je ne cherche pas ma propre volont\u00e9, mais la volont\u00e9 de celui qui m&#039;a envoy\u00e9\u00a0\u201d, et encore en Jean 6.38\u00a0: \u201c\u00a0Car je suis descendu du ciel, non pour faire ma volont\u00e9, mais la volont\u00e9 de celui qui m&#039;a envoy\u00e9.\u00a0\u201d<\/p><p data-start=\"1964\" data-end=\"2202\">Puis, dans Jean 17:4, juste avant la Croix, notre Seigneur a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 : \u201c Je t\u2019ai glorifi\u00e9 sur la terre. J\u2019ai achev\u00e9 l\u2019\u0153uvre que tu m\u2019as donn\u00e9e \u00e0 faire. \u201d Et sur la Croix, il a proclam\u00e9 triomphalement : \u201c Tout est accompli \u201d (Jean 19:30) !<\/p><p data-start=\"2204\" data-end=\"2441\">En venant au monde, en menant une vie parfaite et en mourant d&#039;une mort parfaite, il a glorifi\u00e9 Dieu au plus haut des cieux. \u201c Dieu est glorifi\u00e9 en lui \u201d (Jean 13, 31) ! Il n&#039;est donc pas \u00e9tonnant que les cieux aient retenti de louanges \u00e0 la naissance de notre Seigneur J\u00e9sus-Christ !<\/p><p data-start=\"2443\" data-end=\"2613\"><strong>Ancre du jour :<\/strong><br \/>Au milieu du tourbillon de la vie, nous devrions faire une pause et louer Dieu d&#039;avoir envoy\u00e9 son Fils dans le monde pour nous racheter et nous ramener \u00e0 lui.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Glory To God And
