\u201c Alors l\u2019ange leur dit : \u2018 N\u2019ayez pas peur, car voici, je vous annonce une bonne nouvelle qui sera une grande joie pour tout le peuple : aujourd\u2019hui, dans la ville de David, il vous est n\u00e9 un Sauveur, qui est le Christ, le Seigneur. \u2019 \u201d
<\/em>Luc 2:10-11<\/em><\/strong><\/p>

Il y a un autre aspect du message de bonne nouvelle de l'ange sur lequel nous voulons nous attarder. L'ange a annonc\u00e9 que le Sauveur n\u00e9 dans la ville de David est \u201c Christ le Seigneur. \u201d<\/em><\/p>

\u201c Christ \u201d vient du mot grec Christos,<\/em> signifiant \u201c oint \u201d ou \u201c \u00e9lu \u201d. C'est l'\u00e9quivalent grec du mot h\u00e9breu Messie,<\/em> ou Messie. J\u00e9sus<\/em> est le nom donn\u00e9 par notre Seigneur en tant qu'homme, r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 \u00e0 Marie par l'ange (Luc 1:31). Christ<\/em> est Son titre, signifiant qu'Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 envoy\u00e9 par Dieu pour \u00eatre un Roi et un Lib\u00e9rateur (\u00c9sa\u00efe 32:1 ; 61:1 ; Daniel 9:25-26).<\/p>

L'ange a ensuite d\u00e9clar\u00e9 qu'Il est \u201c Christ le Seigneur. \u201d<\/em> Alors que seigneur<\/em> Ce terme \u00e9tait souvent employ\u00e9 comme marque de respect \u00e0 l'\u00e9poque, mais appliqu\u00e9 au Seigneur J\u00e9sus, il rev\u00eat une signification bien plus profonde. Dans les Actes 2:36, apr\u00e8s la mort, l'ensevelissement et la r\u00e9surrection de J\u00e9sus, Pierre proclama\u00a0:, \u201c Que toute la maison d\u2019Isra\u00ebl sache donc avec certitude que Dieu a fait Seigneur et Christ ce J\u00e9sus que vous avez crucifi\u00e9. \u201d<\/em> Mais ce que nous apprenons de l'annonce faite aux bergers, c'est que m\u00eame couch\u00e9 dans une cr\u00e8che, J\u00e9sus est Seigneur ! Sa Seigneurie est \u00e9ternelle.<\/p>

Le proph\u00e8te Isa\u00efe a vu le \u201c Seigneur\u2026 \u00e9lev\u00e9 et glorifi\u00e9 \u201d<\/em> (\u00c9sa\u00efe 6:1), et Jean fait r\u00e9f\u00e9rence \u00e0 cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement dans Jean 12:41, en disant\u00a0:, \u201c\u00a0Voici ce qu\u2019a dit Isa\u00efe lorsqu\u2019il a vu sa gloire et qu\u2019il a parl\u00e9 de lui.\u00a0\u201d<\/em><\/p>

Le Seigneur J\u00e9sus est Seigneur de la cr\u00e9ation, comme il l'a d\u00e9montr\u00e9 lorsqu'il a apais\u00e9 la temp\u00eate\u00a0: les vents et les vagues savaient exactement \u00e0 qui ils ob\u00e9issaient. Il est Seigneur de l'histoire comme\u2026 \u201c Alpha et Om\u00e9ga, le commencement et la fin, le premier et le dernier \u201d<\/em> (Apocalypse 22:13). Il est Seigneur dans le royaume de la mort, de la r\u00e9surrection et de la gloire (Philippiens 2:9-11). Il a \u201c Toute autorit\u00e9 au ciel et sur la terre \u201d<\/em> (Matthieu 28:18). Il est le Seigneur du sabbat (Luc 6:5). Il est \u201c notre seul Souverain et Seigneur \u201d<\/em> (Jude 1:4). Il est, en fait, le Seigneur des seigneurs<\/em> (Apocalypse 17:14).<\/p>

Mais comme il est extraordinaire de constater que Sa Seigneurie est d\u00e9j\u00e0 pr\u00e9sente d\u00e8s Sa naissance !<\/p>

J\u00e9sus est Seigneur. Mais la question que chacun de nous doit se poser est la suivante\u00a0: \u201c Est-Il mon Seigneur ? \u201d<\/em> Suis-je soumis \u00e0 Sa Seigneurie dans ma vie ?<\/p>

Romains 10:9-10 d\u00e9clare, \u201c Si tu confesses de ta bouche que J\u00e9sus est Seigneur et si tu crois dans ton c\u0153ur que Dieu l\u2019a ressuscit\u00e9 des morts, tu seras sauv\u00e9. Car c\u2019est en croyant du c\u0153ur qu\u2019on parvient \u00e0 la justice, et c\u2019est en confessant de la bouche qu\u2019on parvient au salut. \u201d<\/em><\/p>
