D\u00e8s qu&#039;il fut descendu de la barque, un homme poss\u00e9d\u00e9 d&#039;un esprit impur sortit des tombeaux et vint \u00e0 sa rencontre. Il habitait parmi les tombeaux\u00a0; personne ne pouvait le ma\u00eetriser, m\u00eame avec des cha\u00eenes, car on l&#039;avait souvent encha\u00een\u00e9 et mis aux fers. Mais il avait bris\u00e9 les cha\u00eenes et mis en pi\u00e8ces les fers\u00a0; personne ne pouvait le dompter.<br \/><strong data-start=\"145\" data-end=\"159\">Marc 5:1\u20134<\/strong><br \/><\/em><\/p><p data-start=\"145\" data-end=\"608\">En lisant Marc 5:1-20, vous d\u00e9couvrez un homme qui illustre de fa\u00e7on saisissante ce que serait une vie sans Christ. On pourrait dire que cet homme repr\u00e9sente la condition de toute personne s\u00e9par\u00e9e du Seigneur J\u00e9sus. Il \u00e9tait sous l&#039;emprise de Satan, impur, nu, vivant au milieu de la mort, sans abri, en proie \u00e0 l&#039;angoisse, incontr\u00f4lable et dangereux.<\/p><p data-start=\"987\" data-end=\"1574\">Dans l\u2019\u00e9p\u00eetre aux \u00c9ph\u00e9siens, on trouve une description similaire de ceux qui sont en dehors du Christ\u00a0: <em data-start=\"1069\" data-end=\"1485\">\u201c Et vous, il vous a rendus \u00e0 la vie, vous qui \u00e9tiez morts par vos offenses et vos p\u00e9ch\u00e9s, dans lesquels vous marchiez autrefois, selon le train de ce monde, selon le prince de la puissance de l&#039;air, cet esprit qui agit maintenant dans les fils de la r\u00e9bellion, parmi lesquels nous tous aussi, nous vivions autrefois selon les convoitises de notre chair, accomplissant les d\u00e9sirs de la chair et de nos pens\u00e9es, et nous \u00e9tions par nature des enfants de col\u00e8re, comme les autres. \u201d<\/em> (\u00c9ph\u00e9siens 2:1-3). Nous \u00e9tions sans esp\u00e9rance et sans Dieu dans le monde (\u00c9ph\u00e9siens 2:12).<\/p><p data-start=\"1576\" data-end=\"1835\">Mais cet homme a rencontr\u00e9 le Christ, et cela a tout chang\u00e9. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9livr\u00e9, gu\u00e9ri et est devenu une nouvelle cr\u00e9ature, avec un nouveau sens \u00e0 sa vie. Le Christ l&#039;a vu dans cet \u00e9tat terrible, a pris l&#039;initiative et a chass\u00e9 l&#039;esprit impur (Marc 5,8).<\/p><p data-start=\"1837\" data-end=\"2543\">Cette m\u00eame v\u00e9rit\u00e9 se retrouve dans \u00c9ph\u00e9siens 2\u00a0: <em data-start=\"1880\" data-end=\"2543\">\u201cMais Dieu, riche en mis\u00e9ricorde, \u00e0 cause du grand amour dont il nous a aim\u00e9s, alors que nous \u00e9tions morts par nos offenses, nous a rendus \u00e0 la vie avec le Christ (c\u2019est par gr\u00e2ce que vous \u00eates sauv\u00e9s), il nous a ressuscit\u00e9s avec lui et nous a fait asseoir avec lui dans les lieux c\u00e9lestes, en J\u00e9sus-Christ, afin de montrer dans les si\u00e8cles \u00e0 venir l\u2019infinie richesse de sa gr\u00e2ce, par sa bont\u00e9 envers nous en J\u00e9sus-Christ. Car c\u2019est par la gr\u00e2ce que vous \u00eates sauv\u00e9s, par le moyen de la foi. Et cela ne vient pas de vous, c\u2019est le don de Dieu. Ce n\u2019est point par les \u0153uvres, afin que personne ne se glorifie. Car nous sommes son ouvrage, ayant \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9s en J\u00e9sus-Christ pour de bonnes \u0153uvres, que Dieu a pr\u00e9par\u00e9es d\u2019avance, afin que nous les pratiquions.\u201d<\/em><\/p><p data-start=\"2545\" data-end=\"2595\"><strong>Ancre du jour :<\/strong><br \/>Le Christ a fait pour beaucoup ce qu&#039;il a fait pour cet homme.
