Car lui et tous ceux qui \u00e9taient avec lui furent stup\u00e9faits de la p\u00eache miraculeuse qu'ils avaient faite\u00a0; Jacques et Jean, fils de Z\u00e9b\u00e9d\u00e9e, associ\u00e9s de Simon, l'\u00e9taient tout autant. J\u00e9sus dit alors \u00e0 Simon\u00a0: \u201c\u00a0N'aie pas peur. D\u00e9sormais, tu seras p\u00eacheur d'hommes.\u00a0\u201d Une fois leurs barques \u00e0 terre, ils laiss\u00e8rent tout et le suivirent.
Luc 5:9-11<\/strong>
<\/em><\/p>

Nous nous tournons une derni\u00e8re fois vers Luc 5,1-11 pour poser une ultime question. La rencontre de Pierre avec le Christ nous am\u00e8ne \u00e0 nous demander\u00a0: \u201c Comment r\u00e9agissons-nous face \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chec ? \u201d<\/em> (vv. 1\u20132), \u201c Comment r\u00e9agissons-nous face \u00e0 l\u2019autorit\u00e9 ? \u201d<\/em> (vv. 3\u20135), et \u201c Comment r\u00e9agissons-nous face au succ\u00e8s ? \u201d <\/em>\u00c0 pr\u00e9sent, alors que nous consid\u00e9rons les versets finaux de cette rencontre, nous nous demandons\u00a0:, \u201c Comment r\u00e9agir face \u00e0 une vie de foi ? \u201d<\/em><\/p>

Pierre et ceux qui \u00e9taient avec lui furent t\u00e9moins oculaires de la grande puissance du Seigneur J\u00e9sus, et cela les remplit de crainte. Le Seigneur ne se contenta pas de dire\u00a0:, \u201c"N'ayez pas peur,"\u201d<\/em> Il apaisa leurs c\u0153urs et leurs esprits anxieux, mais il leur donna aussi une nouvelle vocation : \u201cD\u00e9sormais, tu attraperas des hommes.\u201d<\/em> Il est int\u00e9ressant de noter qu'auparavant, dans les versets 4 et 9, le mot \u201c attraper \u201d v\u00e9hiculait l'id\u00e9e d'attraper pour tuer, mais qu'ici il v\u00e9hiculait l'id\u00e9e d'attraper pour sauver.<\/p>

La peur n'aurait aucune place dans la vie et l'\u0153uvre auxquelles le Seigneur les appelait. Dans l'\u00c9vangile de Luc, nous retrouvons ce th\u00e8me r\u00e9current. \u201c"N'ayez pas peur"\u201d<\/em> sept fois (1:13, 30\u00a0; 2:10\u00a0; 5:10\u00a0; 8:50\u00a0; 12:7, 32). Le Seigneur nous appelle \u00e0 vivre par la foi, et non par la peur. \u201c Sans la foi, il est impossible de lui plaire, car celui qui s\u2019approche de Dieu doit croire qu\u2019il existe et qu\u2019il r\u00e9compense ceux qui le cherchent avec diligence. \u201d<\/em> (H\u00e9breux 11:6)<\/p>

Comment d\u00e9velopper cette foi ? De la m\u00eame mani\u00e8re que Pierre : \u201c \u00c0 ta parole \u201d<\/em> (Luc 5:5). \u201c La foi vient de ce qu\u2019on entend, et ce qu\u2019on entend vient de la parole de Dieu. \u201d<\/em> (Romains 10:17)<\/p>

Pour vivre une vie de foi, nous devons prendre le Seigneur au mot. Vivre selon sa Parole nous fortifie et nous permet de t\u00e9moigner de sa lumi\u00e8re dans un monde obscur et mourant. Ce monde est rempli de ceux qui vivent dans la peur au quotidien. Mais : \u201c Dieu ne nous a pas donn\u00e9 un esprit de crainte, mais un esprit de force, d\u2019amour et de sagesse. \u201d<\/em> (2 Timoth\u00e9e 1:7)<\/p>

Le vieil ap\u00f4tre Jean nous rappelle \u00e9galement : \u201c Il n\u2019y a pas de crainte dans l\u2019amour ; mais l\u2019amour parfait bannit la crainte, car la crainte suppose un ch\u00e2timent. Celui qui craint n\u2019est pas parfait dans l\u2019amour. \u201d<\/em> (1 Jean 4:18)<\/p>
