Apr\u00e8s cela, ils prirent une grande quantit\u00e9 de poissons, et leur filet commen\u00e7ait \u00e0 se d\u00e9chirer. Ils firent alors signe \u00e0 leurs compagnons de l'autre barque de venir les aider. Ceux-ci vinrent et remplirent les deux barques, si bien qu'elles commenc\u00e8rent \u00e0 couler.

<\/em><\/p>

En examinant la rencontre de Pierre avec le Christ dans Luc 5:1-11, nous avons d\u00e9j\u00e0 demand\u00e9, \u201c Comment r\u00e9agissons-nous face \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chec ? \u201d<\/em> (vv. 1\u20132), et \u201c Comment r\u00e9agissons-nous face \u00e0 l\u2019autorit\u00e9 ? \u201d<\/em> (vv. 3-5). Une troisi\u00e8me question que l'on peut tirer de ce passage est\u00a0:, \u201c Comment r\u00e9agissons-nous face au succ\u00e8s ? \u201d<\/em><\/p>

En ob\u00e9issant \u00e0 la parole du Seigneur, Pierre d\u00e9couvrit que celui-ci est capable de faire \u201c infiniment au-del\u00e0 de tout ce que nous demandons ou pensons \u201d (\u00c9ph\u00e9siens 3:20). La p\u00eache fut si abondante que les filets commenc\u00e8rent \u00e0 se d\u00e9chirer, et malgr\u00e9 leurs appels \u00e0 l'aide, les deux barques commenc\u00e8rent \u00e0 couler sous le poids de cette b\u00e9n\u00e9diction.<\/p>

Le succ\u00e8s est une chose d\u00e9licate pour beaucoup d'entre nous. Il peut engendrer l'orgueil, nous amenant \u00e0 penser que nous<\/em> Nous avons accompli quelque chose par nos propres forces, ce qui peut nous faire perdre de vue Celui qui est la v\u00e9ritable source de toute b\u00e9n\u00e9diction. Cela peut m\u00eame nous isoler et nous \u00e9loigner des autres. Mais la r\u00e9ponse de Pierre est tr\u00e8s instructive.<\/p>

Il a d'abord sollicit\u00e9 l'aide d'autrui, ce qui leur a permis de b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier de sa b\u00e9n\u00e9diction. L'\u00c9criture enseigne ce principe dans l'Ancien et le Nouveau Testament (Gen\u00e8se 12:2 ; Actes 20:35 ; Luc 6:38).<\/p>

Ensuite, Pierre fut touch\u00e9 par la bont\u00e9 du Seigneur envers lui. C\u2019est la bont\u00e9 de Dieu qui nous conduit \u00e0 la repentance (Romains 2:4). Pierre se vit clairement \u00e0 la lumi\u00e8re de la gr\u00e2ce de Dieu et r\u00e9pondit\u00a0:, \u201c Quand Simon Pierre vit cela, il tomba aux genoux de J\u00e9sus et dit : \u2019 \u00c9loigne-toi de moi, Seigneur, car je suis un homme p\u00e9cheur ! \u2018 \u2019 <\/em>Lorsque nous apercevons ne serait-ce qu'un instant la bont\u00e9, la grandeur et la gloire du Seigneur, il n'y a plus de place pour l'orgueil, l'arrogance ou l'\u00e9gocentrisme. Nous le voyons clairement illustr\u00e9 dans Isa\u00efe 6.<\/p>

Enfin, nous lisons au verset 9\u00a0: \u201c Car lui et tous ceux qui \u00e9taient avec lui furent \u00e9tonn\u00e9s de la p\u00eache qu'ils avaient faite. \u201d <\/em>L\u2019ob\u00e9issance au Seigneur engendre des vies qui t\u00e9moignent de la grandeur de notre Dieu \u2013 et ce t\u00e9moignage rayonne autour de nous !<\/p>
