Le troisi\u00e8me jour, il y eut un mariage \u00e0 Cana en Galil\u00e9e, et la m\u00e8re de J\u00e9sus \u00e9tait l\u00e0. J\u00e9sus et ses disciples \u00e9taient tous deux invit\u00e9s au mariage. Quand le vin vint \u00e0 manquer, la m\u00e8re de J\u00e9sus lui dit\u00a0: \u201c\u00a0Ils n\u2019ont plus de vin.\u00a0\u201d J\u00e9sus lui r\u00e9pondit\u00a0: \u201c\u00a0Femme, qu\u2019y a-t-il entre toi et moi\u00a0? Mon heure n\u2019est pas encore venue.\u00a0\u201d Sa m\u00e8re dit aux serviteurs\u00a0: \u201c\u00a0Faites tout ce qu\u2019il vous dira.\u00a0\u201d

La rencontre avec le Seigneur J\u00e9sus que nous allons examiner aujourd'hui concerne \u00e9galement J\u00e9sus et sa m\u00e8re. L'histoire se d\u00e9roule lors d'un mariage \u00e0 Cana, o\u00f9 ils \u00e9taient tous deux pr\u00e9sents. Pendant la f\u00eate, le vin vint \u00e0 manquer chez l'h\u00f4te. C'est \u00e0 ce moment pr\u00e9cis que l'Invit\u00e9 \u2013 le Seigneur J\u00e9sus \u2013 devint le v\u00e9ritable H\u00f4te. Aux versets 1 et 2, nous le voyons comme l'Invit\u00e9\u00a0; aux versets 3 \u00e0 5, comme le Fils\u00a0; et aux versets 6 \u00e0 12, comme l'H\u00f4te.<\/p>

Imaginez la g\u00eane de l'h\u00f4te d'un mariage qui se retrouve \u00e0 court de vin. Marie avait longuement m\u00e9dit\u00e9 sur son Fils, et elle savait qu'il saurait r\u00e9soudre ce probl\u00e8me. Elle s'adresse \u00e0 lui et lui expose la situation. Sa r\u00e9ponse peut nous para\u00eetre \u00e9trange\u00a0: \u201c\u00a0Femme, qu'y a-t-il entre toi et moi\u00a0? Mon heure n'est pas encore venue.\u00a0\u201d Le Seigneur J\u00e9sus fait r\u00e9f\u00e9rence \u00e0 \u201c\u00a0mon heure\u00a0\u201d, une expression qui appara\u00eet au moins dix fois dans l'\u00c9vangile de Jean\u00a0: cinq fois sous la forme \u201c\u00a0elle n'est pas encore venue\u00a0\u201d et cinq fois sous la forme \u201c\u00a0l'heure est venue\u00a0\u201d.\u201d<\/p>

Sa r\u00e9ponse n'offensa pas Marie\u00a0; elle comprit ce qu'il voulait dire. Il lui rappelait qu'il agissait selon un calendrier divin. Celui qui ma\u00eetrisait ce calendrier \u00e9tait son P\u00e8re, et non les circonstances de la vie.<\/p>

Marie, pleine de foi, dit aux serviteurs\u00a0: \u201c\u00a0Faites tout ce qu\u2019il vous dira.\u00a0\u201d Le Seigneur leur ordonna alors de remplir d\u2019eau six jarres, ce qu\u2019ils firent sans h\u00e9siter. En puisant de l\u2019eau dans les jarres, ils constat\u00e8rent qu\u2019elle s\u2019\u00e9tait chang\u00e9e en vin \u2013 et pas n\u2019importe quel vin, mais un vin exceptionnel (vv. 9-10)\u00a0!<\/p>

Le Seigneur n'a pas r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 \u00e0 Marie ni aux serviteurs ce qu'il allait faire, ni m\u00eame comment il allait le faire. De m\u00eame, il ne nous d\u00e9voile pas d'un seul coup tout son plan pour nos vies. Il d\u00e9sire simplement que nous lui ob\u00e9issions et lui fassions confiance. \u201c Sans la foi, il est impossible de plaire \u00e0 Dieu \u201d (H\u00e9breux 11,6).<\/p>
