Une perspective \u00e9ternelle<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\u201c\u00a0Comme des brebis, elles sont jet\u00e9es dans la tombe\u00a0; la mort les d\u00e9vorera\u00a0; au matin, les justes domineront sur elles\u00a0; et leur beaut\u00e9 dispara\u00eetra dans la tombe, loin de leur demeure. Mais Dieu rach\u00e8tera mon \u00e2me du pouvoir de la tombe, car il me recevra. Selah.\u00a0\u201d<\/em>
Psaume 49:14\u201315<\/strong><\/p>

En lisant le Psaume 49, vous entendrez l'auteur nous conseiller de ne pas placer notre confiance dans les richesses. C'est un psaume \u00e9crit \u00e0 chaque<\/em> chemin de vie\u2014\u201c \u00e0 tous les peuples \u201d<\/em> et \u201c tous les habitants du monde \u201d<\/em> (v. 1). Cela s'applique aussi bien aux riches qu'aux pauvres (v. 2), aux puissants qu'aux humbles (v. 2), aux sages qu'aux insens\u00e9s (v. 10). Le psaume nous rappelle que nous ne pouvons emporter nos richesses avec nous, aussi ne devons-nous pas en faire le but de notre vie, ni envier les riches. Le psalmiste avertit les justes de ne pas envier la prosp\u00e9rit\u00e9 des m\u00e9chants ni de se laisser s\u00e9duire par leurs possessions.<\/p>

On a souvent dit, \u201c On ne peut pas l\u2019emporter avec soi \u2014 on ne voit jamais de camion U-Haul derri\u00e8re un corbillard. \u201d<\/em> Chacun laissera tout derri\u00e8re lui. C'est pourquoi il est important de ne pas vivre uniquement pour le moment pr\u00e9sent. ici et maintenant,<\/em> mais vivre maintenant avec \u00e9ternit\u00e9<\/em> en vue. Le Seigneur J\u00e9sus a dit, \u201c Ne vous amassez pas des tr\u00e9sors sur la terre, o\u00f9 la teigne et la rouille d\u00e9truisent, et o\u00f9 les voleurs percent les murs et d\u00e9robent\u00a0; mais amassez-vous des tr\u00e9sors dans le ciel, o\u00f9 ni la teigne ni la rouille ne d\u00e9truisent, et o\u00f9 les voleurs ne percent ni ne d\u00e9robent. Car l\u00e0 o\u00f9 est ton tr\u00e9sor, l\u00e0 aussi sera ton c\u0153ur. \u201d<\/em> (Matthieu 6:19-21).<\/p>

Le Psaume 49 pr\u00e9sente \u00e9galement une autre v\u00e9rit\u00e9 qui donne \u00e0 r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir, mais qui est n\u00e9cessaire\u00a0: La mort nous emporte tous.<\/em> Chacun de nous mourra et sera mis au tombeau si le Seigneur ne revient pas auparavant. Le psalmiste nous dit que l'homme, comme une b\u00eate, sera enterr\u00e9 (v. 12), et la mort consumera son corps physique. Nos corps, pourtant cr\u00e9\u00e9s de fa\u00e7on merveilleuse et admirable, se d\u00e9composeront dans la tombe. Mais les justes, ceux qui n'ont pas mis leur confiance dans les richesses mais dans le Seigneur, auront une beaut\u00e9 \u00e9ternelle. au-del\u00e0 de la tombe.<\/em><\/p>

C\u2019est l\u00e0 que notre \u00ab Mais Dieu \u00bb appara\u00eet. Le psalmiste souligne deux v\u00e9rit\u00e9s\u00a0:<\/p>

Le Seigneur rach\u00e8tera l'\u00e2me des justes du pouvoir de la mort.<\/strong>
Pour nous, cela n\u2019est possible que gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l\u2019\u0153uvre accomplie par le Seigneur J\u00e9sus-Christ (H\u00e9breux 2:14-15).<\/p>

Le Seigneur accueillera l'\u00e2me des rachet\u00e9s.<\/strong>
Quel bonheur d'\u00eatre assur\u00e9 que n'importe qui et tout le monde<\/em> Celui qui met sa confiance en Christ sera re\u00e7u par lui (Jean 6:37, 39).<\/p>
