Il \u00e9tait en effet tr\u00e8s malade, presque \u00e0 l\u2019article de la mort ; mais Dieu a eu piti\u00e9 de lui, et non seulement de lui, mais aussi de moi, afin que je n\u2019aie pas chagrin sur chagrin. \u201d<\/em><br data-start=\"546\" data-end=\"549\" \/><strong>Philippiens 2:25-27<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"601\" data-end=\"1155\">\u00c9paphrodite avait \u00e9t\u00e9 envoy\u00e9 par l&#039;assembl\u00e9e de Philippes pour remettre un pr\u00e9sent d&#039;amour \u00e0 l&#039;ap\u00f4tre Paul. En chemin, il tomba gravement malade.<em data-start=\"740\" data-end=\"760\">\u201c malade \u00e0 en mourir. \u201d<\/em> Une fois r\u00e9tabli, Paul le renvoya aupr\u00e8s des croyants de Philippes afin qu&#039;ils soient r\u00e9confort\u00e9s de le revoir (v. 28). Paul leur donna les instructions suivantes\u00a0: <em data-start=\"923\" data-end=\"1140\">\u201c Accueillez-le donc dans le Seigneur avec toute joie, et tenez de tels hommes en estime ; car pour l\u2019\u0153uvre du Christ, il a fr\u00f4l\u00e9 la mort, sans h\u00e9siter \u00e0 y laisser sa vie, afin de pourvoir \u00e0 ce qui manquait dans votre service envers moi. \u201d<\/em> (vv. 29\u201330).<\/p><p data-start=\"1157\" data-end=\"1205\">Ce court passage nous enseigne plusieurs le\u00e7ons\u00a0:<\/p><p data-start=\"1207\" data-end=\"1538\"><strong data-start=\"1207\" data-end=\"1264\">1. Servir le Seigneur ne nous exempte pas de la souffrance.<\/strong><br data-start=\"1264\" data-end=\"1267\" \/>Certains pourraient consid\u00e9rer la mission d&#039;\u00c9paphrodite comme un \u00e9chec, voire une r\u00e9ussite. Mais il n&#039;en est rien. La cl\u00e9 de la r\u00e9ussite r\u00e9side dans ces magnifiques paroles\u00a0: <em data-start=\"1439\" data-end=\"1451\">\u201c Mais Dieu. \u201d<\/em> Paul pourrait dire, <em data-start=\"1468\" data-end=\"1490\">\u201c Mais Dieu a eu piti\u00e9. \u201d<\/em> Dieu n&#039;\u00e9tait pas seulement aux commandes, il \u00e9tait souverain.<\/p><p data-start=\"1540\" data-end=\"1728\"><strong data-start=\"1540\" data-end=\"1607\">2. Ce qui ressemble \u00e0 un \u00e9chec peut faire partie du processus de croissance voulu par Dieu.<\/strong><br data-start=\"1607\" data-end=\"1610\" \/>Si la vie n&#039;\u00e9tait faite que d&#039;exp\u00e9riences au sommet des montagnes, nous ne d\u00e9couvririons jamais la croissance spirituelle qui se produit dans les vall\u00e9es.<\/p><p data-start=\"1730\" data-end=\"1986\"><strong data-start=\"1730\" data-end=\"1782\">3. Nous voyons la valeur de la vie communautaire en Christ.<\/strong><br data-start=\"1782\" data-end=\"1785\" \/>Paul a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 : <em data-start=\"1800\" data-end=\"1904\">\u201c Mais Dieu a eu piti\u00e9 de lui, et non seulement de lui, mais aussi de moi, afin que je n\u2019aie pas de chagrin sur chagrin. \u201d <\/em>Le retour d&#039;\u00c9paphrodite apporta de la joie non seulement \u00e0 Paul, mais \u00e0 toute l&#039;assembl\u00e9e.<\/p><p data-start=\"1988\" data-end=\"2302\"><strong data-start=\"1988\" data-end=\"2023\">4. Dieu voit ce que les autres ne voient pas.<\/strong><br data-start=\"2023\" data-end=\"2026\" \/>La plupart d&#039;entre nous n&#039;auraient jamais connu ces le\u00e7ons de la vie d&#039;\u00c9paphrodite sans les <em data-start=\"2111\" data-end=\"2123\">\u201c Mais Dieu. \u201d<\/em> Une grande partie de notre vie reste cach\u00e9e aux yeux du public. Une grande partie de ce que nous faisons pour le Christ ne sera peut-\u00eatre jamais consign\u00e9e dans l&#039;histoire. Mais Dieu voit. Il sait.
