Nah\u00fam fue llamado por el Se\u00f1or para profetizar sobre el mismo pueblo al que Jon\u00e1s hab\u00eda predicado con reticencia y que se hab\u00eda arrepentido. Pero el tiempo hab\u00eda pasado y los habitantes de N\u00ednive hab\u00edan vuelto a sus malos caminos. En el primer cap\u00edtulo, leemos sobre la declaraci\u00f3n del juicio; en el cap\u00edtulo 2, sobre el poder del juicio; y en el cap\u00edtulo 3, sobre la irrevocabilidad de dicho juicio. \u00a1Tres cap\u00edtulos de juicio que rodean a este profeta!<\/p><p>Pero nuestro vers\u00edculo se alza como un faro, irradiando esperanza en la noche oscura para todos los que pasan por all\u00ed. En este \u00fanico vers\u00edculo, vemos tres cosas.<\/p><p>Primero, leemos acerca de la bondad de Dios. Quiz\u00e1s no ser\u00eda esto lo que nosotros destacar\u00edamos. Podr\u00edamos haber declarado: \u201cEl Se\u00f1or es santo\u201d o \u201cEl Se\u00f1or es grande\u201d, pero Nah\u00fam anuncia la bondad del Se\u00f1or. El Se\u00f1or es bueno en lo \u00e9tico, lo moral y lo pr\u00e1ctico. David nos recuerda que el Se\u00f1or es bueno y hace el bien (Salmo 119:68). La bondad del Se\u00f1or fue revelada a hombres como Mois\u00e9s y Jerem\u00edas (\u00c9xodo 33:19; 34:6; Lamentaciones 3:25). Esta bondad de Dios se manifest\u00f3 a lo largo de la vida del Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas cuando anduvo haciendo el bien (Hechos 10:38).<\/p><p>Nah\u00fam pod\u00eda declarar, incluso en medio del juicio, que el Se\u00f1or es bueno porque es un refugio para todos los que conf\u00edan en \u00c9l. Es un amparo y un lugar seguro en tiempos de angustia (Salmo 46:1-2). El mensaje de Nah\u00fam es claro: el Se\u00f1or es capaz de salvar a quienes se vuelven a \u00c9l de la severidad del juicio que pronto caer\u00eda sobre N\u00ednive.<\/p><p>El Se\u00f1or hab\u00eda sido paciente con esta ciudad, como lo es hoy con la humanidad. Pedro nos recuerda: \u201cEl Se\u00f1or no se tarda en cumplir su promesa, como algunos piensan, sino que es paciente con nosotros, no queriendo que nadie perezca, sino que todos procedan al arrepentimiento\u201d (2 Pedro 3:9).<\/p><p>As\u00ed como el juicio lleg\u00f3 a N\u00ednive, llegar\u00e1 a todos los que rechazan la salvaci\u00f3n de Dios a trav\u00e9s de su Hijo. \u201cPorque Dios no envi\u00f3 a su Hijo al mundo para condenar al mundo, sino para que el mundo sea salvo por medio de \u00e9l\u201d (Jn. 3:17).<\/p><p><strong>Lo m\u00e1s destacado de hoy:<\/strong><br \/>Hoy, un faro ilumina el evangelio de la gracia de Dios, anunciando con fuerza: \u00a1Dios te ama! \u00c9l te ha provisto un camino de salvaci\u00f3n en la cruz de Jesucristo. \u00a1Ac\u00e9rcate a \u00c9l, confiesa tus pecados, arrepi\u00e9ntete y ser\u00e1s salvo!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Lighthouse Of Grace \u201cThe LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knows those who trust in Him.\u201dNahum 1:7 This wonderful verse sits in the middle of three chapters of fierce judgment against Nineveh.
