Esto puede significar muchas cosas para diferentes personas, pero en esta serie queremos aprender lo que dice la Biblia sobre el perd\u00f3n.<\/p><p>Primero, conviene tener una definici\u00f3n pr\u00e1ctica de lo que significa perdonar. En la Biblia, el perd\u00f3n conlleva la idea de \u201cliberar\u201d, \u201cdejar ir\u201d o \u201csoltar\u201d. La palabra griega que a menudo se traduce como perd\u00f3n implica la cancelaci\u00f3n de una deuda. As\u00ed pues, podemos decir que perdonar es \u201ccancelar una deuda con amor y voluntariamente\u201d. Dicho de otro modo, perdonar a alguien es renunciar a mi derecho a guardar rencor por el da\u00f1o que me ha causado.<\/p><p>En segundo lugar, es \u00fatil comprender que existen diferentes tipos de perd\u00f3n mencionados en la Palabra de Dios. El primero a considerar es el perd\u00f3n posicional, tambi\u00e9n conocido como perd\u00f3n judicial, que est\u00e1 vinculado a nuestra salvaci\u00f3n y a nuestra posici\u00f3n ante Dios. Quienes han depositado su fe en la obra consumada de Cristo en la cruz han sido perdonados por un Dios santo: \u201cEn \u00e9l tenemos redenci\u00f3n por medio de su sangre, el perd\u00f3n de los pecados seg\u00fan las riquezas de su gracia\u201d (Efesios 1:7). Colosenses 2:13 a\u00f1ade: \u201cY a vosotros, que estabais muertos en vuestros delitos y en la incircuncisi\u00f3n de vuestra carne, os dio vida juntamente con \u00e9l, perdon\u00e1ndoos todos los pecados\u201d.\u201d<\/p><p>Una de las escenas m\u00e1s conmovedoras de toda la Escritura es la de nuestro Se\u00f1or Jesucristo, golpeado, azotado, escarnecido y escupido, colgado en la cruz y mirando a la multitud que gritaba: \u201c\u00a1Crucif\u00edcalo! \u00a1Crucif\u00edcalo! \u00a1No permitiremos que este hombre reine sobre nosotros!\u201d. Entonces, el bendito Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas, clavado en la cruz, suspendido entre el cielo y la tierra, entre un Dios santo y los hombres pecadores, se incorpor\u00f3 para tomar aliento y dijo: \u201cPadre, perd\u00f3nalos, porque no saben lo que hacen\u201d.\u201d<\/p><p>El mensaje de la Cruz es el perd\u00f3n que conduce a la restauraci\u00f3n.
