Proviene de \u00c9xodo 17:15, donde vemos a Mois\u00e9s dando este nombre al altar despu\u00e9s de que el Se\u00f1or les concediera la victoria sobre los amalecitas.<\/p><p>Amalec fue el primer enemigo que Israel tuvo que enfrentar en el desierto. Representa la carne. Amalec desafi\u00f3 al pueblo de Dios, as\u00ed como la carne representa un desaf\u00edo para los creyentes. La victoria de Israel se asegur\u00f3 cuando Mois\u00e9s alz\u00f3 sus manos. Aqu\u00ed vemos un s\u00edmbolo de la intercesi\u00f3n del Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas en el cielo a nuestro favor.\u00a0<\/p><p>En Filipenses 1, encontramos el testimonio de Pablo: \u201cPara m\u00ed, vivir es Cristo, y morir es ganancia\u201d (Fil. 1:21). Luego, en los vers\u00edculos 27-30, vemos siete maneras pr\u00e1cticas en que el creyente puede \u201cvivir a Cristo\u201d mientras a\u00fan est\u00e1 en la tierra. Debemos tener una conducta digna del evangelio; mantenernos firmes; luchar codo a codo con otros creyentes; no atemorizarnos ante nuestros adversarios; ser conscientes del favor de Dios; estar dispuestos a sufrir; y participar en la lucha.<\/p><p>En medio de estas exhortaciones pr\u00e1cticas, descubrimos que Dios es la fuente de nuestra salvaci\u00f3n. Pablo afirma que su salvaci\u00f3n proviene de Dios (v. 28). \u00c9l es quien nos da el poder y la capacidad para practicar aquello que demuestra que Cristo vive en nosotros. Estamos llamados a mantenernos firmes, luchar, sufrir y participar en la lucha, pero no lo hacemos con nuestras propias fuerzas. Aquel bajo cuyo estandarte nos mantenemos firmes es quien nos provee lo necesario para la batalla.<\/p><p>La vida cristiana no est\u00e1 exenta de conflictos. En este mundo tendremos tribulaciones. Hay quienes se oponen al creyente y quienes se oponen a la cruz de Cristo. Pero en medio de todo conflicto, Dios demuestra ser nuestro Jehov\u00e1 Nissi, nuestro Estandarte. La unidad de pensamiento nos permite tener gozo en medio de la batalla.<\/p><p>Este primer nombre de Dios que vemos reflejado en Filipenses nos habla de protecci\u00f3n divina. Jehov\u00e1 Nissi es nuestro estandarte en el conflicto.<\/p><p><strong>Lo m\u00e1s destacado de hoy:<\/strong><br \/>As\u00ed como la victoria de Israel sobre Amalec provino del Se\u00f1or, nuestra capacidad para mantenernos firmes y &quot;vivir a Cristo&quot; en medio de la oposici\u00f3n proviene de
