Cada ma\u00f1ana se renueva; grande es tu fidelidad.\u201d<br \/><strong>Lamentaciones 3:22-23<\/strong><\/em><\/p><p>\u00a1La misericordia se manifiesta en la vida de todo creyente! Un gran ejemplo de esta misericordia se encuentra en Lucas 10, en la par\u00e1bola del Buen Samaritano. Al vendar las heridas del hombre que hab\u00eda sido golpeado y robado, el Buen Samaritano le mostr\u00f3 misericordia. Al llevarlo a la posada m\u00e1s cercana y pagar su alojamiento hasta que se recuperara, \u00a1mostr\u00f3 gracia! Su misericordia alivi\u00f3 el dolor, \u00a1y su gracia provey\u00f3 para la sanaci\u00f3n!<\/p><p>La forma m\u00e1s evidente de mostrar misericordia es mediante actos f\u00edsicos, como lo hizo el Buen Samaritano. Tal como el Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas mand\u00f3 espec\u00edficamente, debemos alimentar al hambriento, vestir al desnudo, visitar al enfermo y al encarcelado, y brindar ayuda pr\u00e1ctica donde podamos. En Mateo 5:7, el Se\u00f1or dice: \u201cBienaventurados los misericordiosos, porque ellos alcanzar\u00e1n misericordia\u201d. Esta idea de mostrar misericordia no es exclusiva del Nuevo Testamento. Consideremos lo que dice Deuteronomio 15:7-8 sobre la misericordia: \u201cSi hay entre ustedes un pobre de entre sus hermanos, dentro de alguna de las ciudades de la tierra que el Se\u00f1or su Dios les da, no endurecer\u00e1n su coraz\u00f3n ni cerrar\u00e1n su mano a su hermano pobre, sino que le abrir\u00e1n su mano generosamente y le prestar\u00e1n lo suficiente para su necesidad, en lo que necesite\u201d.\u201d<\/p><p>Pablo nos recuerda: \u201cPor tanto, como escogidos de Dios, santos y amados, rev\u00edstanse de tierna misericordia, bondad, humildad, mansedumbre y paciencia; sop\u00f3rtense unos a otros y perd\u00f3nense mutuamente si alguno tiene queja contra otro; como Cristo los perdon\u00f3, as\u00ed tambi\u00e9n deben hacerlo ustedes\u201d.\u201d\u00a0<\/p><p>La misericordia se manifiesta tanto en nuestra actitud como en nuestras acciones. La misericordia no guarda rencor, no alberga resentimiento, no se aprovecha de los fracasos o debilidades ajenas ni divulga los pecados de los dem\u00e1s.<\/p><p>La misericordia muestra compasi\u00f3n, como lo hizo el Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas desde la cruz cuando pudo decir: \u201cPadre, perd\u00f3nalos, porque no saben lo que hacen\u201d (Lc 23:34). Al ladr\u00f3n arrepentido en la cruz, la misericordia pudo decirle: \u201cEn verdad te digo que hoy estar\u00e1s conmigo en el para\u00edso\u201d (v. 43).<\/p><p>La misericordia debe manifestarse en la manera en que nos corregimos unos a otros: \u201ccon humildad, corrigiendo a los que se oponen, por si Dios les concede arrepentimiento para que conozcan la verdad\u2026\u201d (2 Timoteo 2:25). Judas retoma esta idea, diciendo: \u201cMant\u00e9nganse en el amor de Dios, esperando la misericordia de nuestro Se\u00f1or Jesucristo para vida eterna. Compad\u00e9zcanse de algunos, haciendo distinci\u00f3n; pero a otros s\u00e1lvenlos con temor, arrebat\u00e1ndolos del fuego, aborreciendo incluso la vestidura contaminada por la carne\u201d (Judas 21-23).<\/p><p>Tambi\u00e9n podr\u00edamos decir que podemos mostrar misericordia orando unos por otros y tendiendo la mano a los perdidos.<\/p><p>En Mateo 18:23-35, el Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas narra la par\u00e1bola del siervo despiadado. El primer siervo ten\u00eda una gran deuda con su amo que no pod\u00eda pagar, y le rog\u00f3 que tuviera paciencia con \u00e9l. \u00a1Podr\u00edamos decir que le suplic\u00f3 misericordia! Pero una vez perdonado, fue a buscar a alguien que le deb\u00eda mucho menos, le exigi\u00f3 que le devolviera hasta el \u00faltimo centavo y lo hizo encarcelar. Cuando el amo oy\u00f3 esto, lo llam\u00f3 y le dijo: \u201c\u00a1Siervo malvado! Yo te perdon\u00e9 toda esa deuda porque me lo suplicaste. \u00bfNo deb\u00edas t\u00fa tambi\u00e9n tener misericordia de tu compa\u00f1ero, como yo la tuve de ti?\u2018 (Mt. 18:32-33).<\/p><p><strong>Lo m\u00e1s destacado de hoy:<\/strong><br \/>Como hemos visto, se nos ha mostrado una misericordia ilimitada que cancela nuestra impagable deuda de pecado. Seguimos recibiendo misericordia d\u00eda tras d\u00eda. \u00bfC\u00f3mo podr\u00edamos entonces negarnos a mostrar misericordia a quienes entran en nuestras vidas?<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mercy On Display \u201cThrough the LORD\u2019s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not.
