Nuestro Padre Celestial es \u201cel Padre de las misericordias\u201d (2 Corintios 1:3) y es \u201crico en misericordia\u201d (Efesios 2:4). La actitud de Dios hacia sus hijos que sufren es de misericordia, compasi\u00f3n y piedad. En momentos de necesidad, todos agradecemos a alguien que pueda empatizar y compadecerse de nosotros. \u00bfAcaso nuestro amoroso Dios, que fue misericordioso al salvarnos (Tito 3:5), ser\u00e1 menos misericordioso ahora que somos sus hijos? \u00a1Por supuesto que no!<\/p><p>Acerqu\u00e9monos, pues, a \u00c9l con confianza y cont\u00e9mosle todas nuestras necesidades.<\/p><p>Hay momentos en que \u201cno sabemos qu\u00e9 pedir en oraci\u00f3n\u201d (Romanos 8:26). Es posible que desconozcas tus necesidades. Pero nuestro Se\u00f1or nos asegura que \u201cvuestro Padre sabe lo que necesit\u00e1is antes de que se lo pid\u00e1is\u201d (Mateo 6:8). V\u00e9ase tambi\u00e9n Mateo 6:32.<\/p><p>Otro prop\u00f3sito de nuestra visita al trono de la gracia es \u201challar gracia para ayudar\u201d. La misericordia es para los errores del pasado, y la gracia es para la hora presente de necesidad.<\/p><p>El ap\u00f3stol Pablo compareci\u00f3 ante el trono de la gracia cuando sufr\u00eda de su aguij\u00f3n en la carne. Tres veces le pidi\u00f3 a Dios que le quitara esta dolencia. Pero eso no era lo que necesitaba. Si en ese momento sent\u00eda dolor, era perfectamente natural que orara pidiendo alivio. Pero en ese momento de necesidad, recibi\u00f3 esta palabra reconfortante del Se\u00f1or: \u201cMi gracia te basta\u201d (2 Corintios 12:9).<\/p><p>El Se\u00f1or no san\u00f3 a Pablo ni elimin\u00f3 su malestar en aquel momento. Pero fue all\u00ed, ante el trono de la gracia, donde descubri\u00f3 la fuente infinita e inagotable de la gracia de Dios. All\u00ed encontr\u00f3 la gracia para recibir ayuda oportuna.
