Cuando una persona es santificada, Dios la aparta para un prop\u00f3sito divino espec\u00edfico. En el mismo instante en que somos salvos en Cristo, tambi\u00e9n somos santificados de inmediato y comenzamos el proceso de ser conformados a su imagen. Como hijos de Dios, desde ese momento somos apartados para llevar a cabo sus prop\u00f3sitos divinos.\u00a0<\/p><p>La santificaci\u00f3n, como todas las promesas y dones de Dios, fluye a trav\u00e9s de la obra del Se\u00f1or Jesucristo en la cruz. Nuestra santidad fue comprada por su sangre. Como resultado de esa obra consumada, la santidad viene por medio del don del Esp\u00edritu Santo que mora en nosotros (2 Tesalonicenses 2:13). Por medio de Cristo, somos hechos lo que se nos declara ser en la conversi\u00f3n. Cuando fuimos declarados justos por Dios (justificados), tambi\u00e9n fuimos santificados posicionalmente. No son lo mismo, \u00a1pero est\u00e1n relacionados! Vea Hebreos 10:10: <em>\u201cPor esa voluntad hemos sido santificados mediante la ofrenda del cuerpo de Jesucristo, hecha una vez para siempre.\u201d<\/em><\/p><p>La Biblia habla de tres tipos de santificaci\u00f3n. Primero, est\u00e1 lo que llamamos <em>santificaci\u00f3n posicional<\/em> (Hebreos 10:10). Esto es algo que Dios ha hecho mediante la obra consumada de Cristo, independientemente de nuestro crecimiento o de la etapa en la que nos encontremos en nuestra vida cristiana. Consideremos, por ejemplo, a los corintios. Se les llama santos en 1 Corintios 1:2 y est\u00e1n apartados para Dios (1 Corintios 6:11), pero ten\u00edan entre ellos toda clase de pecados y eran carnales (1 Corintios 3:1-3).<\/p><p>La Biblia tambi\u00e9n ense\u00f1a <em>santificaci\u00f3n pr\u00e1ctica o progresiva<\/em>, lo cual implica nuestro trato diario con el pecado y nuestro crecimiento en santidad. Segunda de Corintios 7:1 nos desaf\u00eda: <em>\u201cLimpi\u00e9monos de toda contaminaci\u00f3n de la carne y del esp\u00edritu, perfeccionando la santidad en el temor de Dios.\u201d<\/em> Pablo vuelve a mencionar esto en 2 Timoteo 2:21 cuando nos exhorta a ser instrumentos adecuados para el uso del Maestro: <em>\u201cUn recipiente para el honor, santificado y \u00fatil para el Maestro, preparado para toda buena obra.\u201d<\/em><\/p><p>Por \u00faltimo, la Palabra de Dios nos informa que existe tal cosa como <em>santificaci\u00f3n perfecta o completa<\/em>. Pero esto solo suceder\u00e1 cuando Cristo regrese, cuando lo veamos como es y seamos como \u00e9l (1 Juan 3:1-2).<\/p><p><strong>Lo m\u00e1s destacado de hoy:<\/strong><br \/>El Se\u00f1or busca que nuestros corazones se rindan y se aparten a \u00c9l de manera pr\u00e1ctica, as\u00ed como \u00c9l nos ha apartado para s\u00ed mismo posicionalmente a trav\u00e9s de la obra consumada de
