Probablemente sean algunos de los vers\u00edculos m\u00e1s conocidos de la Biblia, pero es posible estar tan familiarizados con ellos que perdamos su significado. Reflexionemos un momento sobre la gracia salvadora de Dios en nuestras vidas. La Biblia nos ense\u00f1a: \u201cPor cuanto todos pecaron y est\u00e1n destituidos de la gloria de Dios\u201d (Romanos 3:23), y contin\u00faa diciendo: \u201cPorque la paga del pecado es muerte, mas la d\u00e1diva de Dios es vida eterna en Cristo Jes\u00fas Se\u00f1or nuestro\u201d (Romanos 6:23). La paga es lo que ganamos o merecemos seg\u00fan nuestros esfuerzos o desempe\u00f1o, mientras que un regalo gratuito es algo que se da sin costo alguno para quien lo recibe porque quien lo da ha pagado el precio por \u00e9l.<\/p><p>Los vers\u00edculos de hoy nos dicen que Dios nos ha salvado por gracia cuando t\u00fa y yo depositamos nuestra fe en la obra consumada de su amado Hijo, el Se\u00f1or Jesucristo. La salvaci\u00f3n no es una recompensa por hacer el bien. La salvaci\u00f3n es algo que Dios plane\u00f3 y que el Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas hizo posible cuando entreg\u00f3 su vida en la cruz del Calvario. Romanos 5:8 nos dice: \u201cDios demuestra su amor para con nosotros, en que siendo a\u00fan pecadores, Cristo muri\u00f3 por nosotros\u201d. Fue Dios quien tom\u00f3 la iniciativa, y fue la muerte, sepultura y resurrecci\u00f3n del Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas lo que hizo posible nuestra salvaci\u00f3n. Pablo, citando Isa\u00edas 65:1, deja muy clara esta naturaleza iniciadora de la gracia de Dios: \u201cFui hallado por los que no me buscaban; me manifest\u00e9 a los que no preguntaban por m\u00ed\u201d (Romanos 10:20). Juan agregar\u00eda: \u201cEn esto consiste el amor: no en que nosotros hayamos amado a Dios, sino en que \u00e9l nos am\u00f3 a nosotros y envi\u00f3 a su Hijo para que fuera la propiciaci\u00f3n por nuestros pecados\u201d (1 Jn. 4:10).<\/p><p>En nuestro vers\u00edculo leemos claramente que la salvaci\u00f3n es por fe y no por obras. Pablo lo dej\u00f3 claro en su ense\u00f1anza en Romanos: \u201cAhora bien, al que trabaja, el salario no se le cuenta como gracia, sino como deuda. Pero al que no trabaja, sino que cree en aquel que justifica al imp\u00edo, su fe le es contada por justicia\u201d (Romanos 4:4-5). La salvaci\u00f3n es un don gratuito de Dios, que no se puede obtener ni ganar de ninguna manera, porque est\u00e1bamos muertos en nuestros delitos y pecados, \u00a1y no pod\u00edamos mostrar ninguna se\u00f1al de vida para con Dios! \u201cPero Dios, que es rico en misericordia, por su gran amor con que nos am\u00f3, aun estando nosotros muertos en delitos, nos dio vida juntamente con Cristo (por gracia sois salvos), y juntamente con \u00e9l nos resucit\u00f3, y asimismo nos hizo sentar en los lugares celestiales con Cristo Jes\u00fas\u201d (Efesios 2:4-6).<\/p><p><strong>Lo m\u00e1s destacado de hoy:<\/strong><br \/>Fue Dios quien tom\u00f3 la iniciativa de salvarnos, y fue la muerte, sepultura y resurrecci\u00f3n del Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas lo que hizo posible nuestra salvaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Saved By Grace Alone For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.Ephesians 2:8-9 How many times have you heard these verses quoted or spoken them yourself?
