Originalmente, la palabra significaba \u201cmuchos pliegues\u201d. En el siglo XIX, se usaba para describir un instrumento musical con un tubo o c\u00e1mara con varias salidas. Incluso hoy, o\u00edmos a los mec\u00e1nicos hablar del colector de admisi\u00f3n en los motores de nuestros autom\u00f3viles, que distribuye uniformemente la mezcla de aire y combustible a cada uno de los cilindros.<\/p><p>La palabra \u201cm\u00faltiple\u201d se ha traducido como \u201cla gracia de Dios en sus diversas formas\u201d, \u201cla gracia variada de Dios\u201d, \u201cla gracia multicolor de Dios\u201d y \u201cla gracia diversa de Dios\u201d. La gracia de Dios tiene muchas facetas, al igual que un diamante tallado tiene muchas caras. Al girar un diamante bajo la luz, se empieza a apreciar su singularidad y belleza. Al experimentar las m\u00faltiples facetas de la gracia de Dios en la vida, se empieza a valorar su belleza, pues refleja a Aquel que nos ha concedido su favor.<\/p><p>En el contexto del vers\u00edculo de hoy, Pedro nos exhorta a servirnos unos a otros seg\u00fan el don espiritual que hemos recibido de la Cabeza resucitada, quien nos ha dado a cada uno al menos un don espiritual. Pablo profundiza en estos dones en Romanos 12, 1 Corintios 12 y Efesios 4. Al considerar estos tres pasajes en conjunto, nos damos cuenta de que la Trinidad nos ha distribuido estos dones espirituales. En Romanos 12, Dios Padre es el Dador; en 1 Corintios 12, es el Esp\u00edritu Santo; y en Efesios 4, es la Cabeza resucitada del Cuerpo, el Se\u00f1or Jesucristo. Aqu\u00ed, Pedro simplemente nos instruye a ser buenos administradores de lo que Dios nos ha dado a cada uno.<\/p><p>T\u00fa y yo hemos sido introducidos en esta multiforme gracia de Dios, y debemos manifestarla en nuestras vidas, no para llamar la atenci\u00f3n sobre nosotros, sino para glorificar a Aquel que nos la ha dado. Pedro contin\u00faa diciendo que todo lo que hagamos, \u201ch\u00e1galo con las fuerzas que Dios le da, para que en todo Dios sea glorificado por medio de Jesucristo\u201d (1 Pedro 4:11).
