Esto significa que \u00c9l es el Soberano supremo del universo y que puede hacer lo que le plazca. Y como Dios tambi\u00e9n es justo, todo lo que \u00c9l desea es perfecto y siempre correcto. El Se\u00f1or declara por medio del profeta Isa\u00edas: \u201cMi prop\u00f3sito se cumplir\u00e1, y har\u00e9 todo lo que me plazca\u201d (Isa\u00edas 46:10). Despu\u00e9s de que Nabucodonosor fuera reprendido por el Se\u00f1or, proclam\u00f3: \u201c\u00c9l hace seg\u00fan su voluntad en el ej\u00e9rcito del cielo y entre los habitantes de la tierra. Nadie puede detener su mano ni decirle: \u2018\u00bfQu\u00e9 has hecho?'\u201d (Daniel 4:35). En Romanos 9:20, Pablo nos recuerda que no tenemos derecho a cuestionar las acciones de Dios: \u201cPero, oh hombre, \u00bfqui\u00e9n eres t\u00fa para replicar contra Dios? \u00bfAcaso la criatura dir\u00e1 al que la cre\u00f3: \u2018\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 me has hecho as\u00ed?'\u201d El ap\u00f3stol tambi\u00e9n declara que Dios es aquel \u201cque obra todas las cosas seg\u00fan el consejo de su voluntad\u201d (Efesios 1:11).<\/p><p>Los profetas Isa\u00edas y Jerem\u00edas hablan de Dios como el Maestro Alfarero (Is. 29:16; 45:9; 64:8; Jer. 18:6). Si \u00c9l es el Alfarero, y lo es, \u00a1entonces t\u00fa y yo somos el barro! \u00c9l tiene derechos sobre nosotros por la creaci\u00f3n y la redenci\u00f3n. Debemos someternos a \u00c9l en toda circunstancia, sin dudar jam\u00e1s de su cuidado, su preocupaci\u00f3n y su amor por la vasija que est\u00e1 formando. La verdad de su soberan\u00eda en mi vida le permite moldearme como mejor le parezca, sin que yo cuestione sus decisiones.<\/p><p>La doctrina de su soberan\u00eda tambi\u00e9n nos consuela en momentos de presi\u00f3n, sabiendo que, siendo \u00c9l el Soberano Supremo, est\u00e1 obrando para cumplir sus prop\u00f3sitos, y estos alcanzar\u00e1n su fin deseado. \u00c9l ha comenzado la obra en su vasija y la completar\u00e1 (Filipenses 1:6).
