Establecer\u00e9 un pacto entre t\u00fa y yo, y te multiplicar\u00e9 en gran manera\u2019.\u201d<br \/>G\u00e9nesis 17:1\u20132<\/em><\/p><p>Esta es la quinta vez que leemos que el Se\u00f1or se apareci\u00f3 a Abram, pero la \u00faltima vez que se registr\u00f3 que Dios le habl\u00f3 fue trece a\u00f1os antes. Abram hab\u00eda experimentado al Se\u00f1or cuando comenz\u00f3 a caminar por fe en los cap\u00edtulos 12-13. Hab\u00eda aprendido la importancia de confiar en su Dios en los cap\u00edtulos 14-15 mientras luchaba por fe. Pero ahora, en los cap\u00edtulos 16-17, a Abram y a su esposa les resulta dif\u00edcil esperar en el Se\u00f1or por fe. Dios les hab\u00eda prometido la tierra a Abram y a sus descendientes, pero ellos estaban envejeciendo y a\u00fan no ten\u00edan hijos. En el cap\u00edtulo 16, Sarai hace lo que a menudo hacemos: toma las riendas de la situaci\u00f3n. Le da a Abram a su sierva egipcia, Agar, \u00a1pero esto solo crea m\u00e1s problemas!<\/p><p>Con frecuencia, surgen situaciones en nuestra vida en las que intentamos resolver las cosas por nuestra cuenta, y solo conseguimos complicar la situaci\u00f3n. El Se\u00f1or no quiere que confiemos en nuestro propio ingenio o fuerza. \u00c9l desea que creamos que nada es imposible para \u00c9l y que es capaz de convertir un obst\u00e1culo en una oportunidad para manifestar su gloria.<\/p><p>El Se\u00f1or se revela a Abram como Dios Todopoderoso. Este nombre se compone de dos palabras: El, que significa poder, y Shaddai, que engloba la idea de todo poder y toda suficiencia. El Se\u00f1or estaba a punto de anunciarle a Abram que Sarai iba a tener un hijo, \u00a1incluso a los noventa a\u00f1os! Abram, Sarai y todos los dem\u00e1s cre\u00edan que su vientre estaba muerto, pero el Se\u00f1or estaba a punto de obrar lo imposible. \u00a1\u00c9l era m\u00e1s que suficiente para obrar un nacimiento milagroso!<\/p><p>Como lo hizo con Abram, el Se\u00f1or puede revelarse a nosotros a trav\u00e9s de su Palabra justo como lo necesitamos. Si te enfrentas a una decisi\u00f3n importante o te encuentras en un callej\u00f3n sin salida, no te adelantes al Se\u00f1or. \u00a1Espera a que \u00c9l revele su poder y majestad! A Abram se le instruy\u00f3 que caminara delante del Se\u00f1or y fuera irreprensible.
