Pero tuvo que aprender a esperar pacientemente en el Se\u00f1or y a observarlo. Este cap\u00edtulo nos recuerda a Asaf en el Salmo 73, quien tampoco comprend\u00eda los caminos de Dios. No entend\u00eda por qu\u00e9 les suced\u00edan cosas buenas a los malos hasta que entr\u00f3 en la casa del Se\u00f1or y comenz\u00f3 a ver las cosas desde la perspectiva de Dios. Para Habacuc, esto sucede en la atalaya. El Se\u00f1or comienza a mostrarle a Habacuc las cosas desde su perspectiva d\u00e1ndole tres responsabilidades.<\/p><p>Primero, deb\u00eda anotar las cosas. Habacuc hab\u00eda asumido el papel de vig\u00eda, cuya responsabilidad era advertir al pueblo del peligro. La revelaci\u00f3n que recibi\u00f3 Habacuc tuvo una aplicaci\u00f3n inmediata en la ca\u00edda de los babilonios, pero, seg\u00fan Hebreos 10:37, tambi\u00e9n anunciaba el futuro regreso de nuestro Se\u00f1or.<\/p><p>La segunda responsabilidad que se le dio a Habacuc fue confiar en la Palabra de Dios. El Se\u00f1or le present\u00f3 un contraste entre quienes conf\u00edan en s\u00ed mismos y quienes viven por fe. En los vers\u00edculos 4 y 5, vemos las consecuencias de quienes est\u00e1n llenos de orgullo y nunca est\u00e1n satisfechos. A estas personas, el Se\u00f1or les profiere cinco advertencias a lo largo del resto del cap\u00edtulo: \u00a1ay contra la ambici\u00f3n ego\u00edsta! (2:6-8), \u00a1ay contra la codicia! (2:9-11), \u00a1ay contra la explotaci\u00f3n de los dem\u00e1s! (2:12-14), \u00a1ay contra la embriaguez y la violencia! (2:15-17), y \u00a1ay contra la idolatr\u00eda! (2:18-20). Proclamar este juicio fue la tercera responsabilidad que se le dio a Habacuc.<\/p><p>En contraste con esto est\u00e1n quienes viven por la fe. Sabemos que la frase \u201cel justo vivir\u00e1 por la fe\u201d se cita tres veces en el Nuevo Testamento: en Romanos 1:17, enfatizando \u201cel justo\u201d; en G\u00e1latas 3:11, enfatizando \u201cvivir\u00e1\u201d; y en Hebreos 10:38, enfatizando \u201cpor la fe\u201d. Esto nos recuerda que la justicia se encuentra solo en Cristo y que debemos vivir por la fe.<\/p><p>El Se\u00f1or le muestra a Habacuc su gracia en el vers\u00edculo 4, y la perspectiva de su gloria en el vers\u00edculo 14: \u201cPorque la tierra se llenar\u00e1 del conocimiento de la gloria del Se\u00f1or, como las aguas cubren el mar\u201d. Tambi\u00e9n le recuerda al profeta su gobierno: \u201cPero el Se\u00f1or est\u00e1 en su santo templo. Que toda la tierra guarde silencio delante de \u00e9l\u201d (2:20). \u00a1Nuestro Dios tiene el control! \u00a1Qu\u00e9 bueno es recordar estas tres cosas en los tiempos que vivimos!<\/p><p><strong>Lo m\u00e1s destacado de hoy:<\/strong><br \/>Recordemos lo que Dios ha dicho y confiemos en su Palabra.
