El Verbo <em>era<\/em>, El verbo \u00abla Palabra Eterna\u00bb, utilizado en los dos primeros vers\u00edculos, est\u00e1 en tiempo imperfecto, lo que significa que describe una acci\u00f3n continua. Esto implica que la Palabra Eterna era continuamente lo que siempre hab\u00eda sido: la Palabra Eterna y el Hijo Eterno. En los vers\u00edculos 1 y 2, lo vemos como la Palabra preexistente.<\/p><p>En el vers\u00edculo 3, leemos acerca de \u00c9l como el Verbo Creador: \u201cTodas las cosas fueron hechas por medio de \u00c9l, y sin \u00c9l nada de lo que ha sido hecho, fue hecho\u201d. Fue por medio de su Hijo que todo fue creado: \u201cDios, que en tiempos pasados habl\u00f3 a nuestros antepasados por medio de los profetas en diversas ocasiones y de diversas maneras, en estos \u00faltimos d\u00edas nos ha hablado por medio de su Hijo, a quien constituy\u00f3 heredero de todo, y por medio de quien tambi\u00e9n hizo el universo\u201d (Hebreos 1:1-2). Como Creador, \u201c\u00c9l habl\u00f3, y fue hecho; \u00c9l mand\u00f3, y todo se mantuvo firme\u201d (Salmo 33:9). \u00c9l es el Creador y Sustentador de todas las cosas, \u201csosteniendo todas las cosas con la palabra de su poder\u201d (Hebreos 1:3).<\/p><p>Estos vers\u00edculos, junto con los vers\u00edculos 4 y 5, tambi\u00e9n nos ense\u00f1an que el Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas es el Verbo autoexistente: \u201cEn \u00e9l estaba la vida, y la vida era la luz de los hombres. La luz resplandece en las tinieblas, y las tinieblas no la comprendieron\u201d. Esto se refiere a algo m\u00e1s que la vida f\u00edsica; tambi\u00e9n habla de la vida espiritual. Como Hijo del Hombre, \u00c9l era la vida de los hombres; como Hijo de Dios, las tinieblas no pudieron comprenderlo.<\/p><p>Este Bendito, que es el Verbo Preexistente, el Verbo Creador y el Verbo Autoexistente, se convirti\u00f3 en el Verbo Encarnado. Este que <em>era<\/em>\u2014quien sigui\u00f3 siendo continuamente lo que siempre hab\u00eda sido\u2014<em>convertirse<\/em> lo que \u00c9l no hab\u00eda sido antes. \u00bfC\u00f3mo era posible? Porque \u201cde tal manera am\u00f3 Dios al mundo, que ha dado a su Hijo unig\u00e9nito, para que todo aquel que en \u00e9l cree, no se pierda, mas tenga vida eterna\u201d (Juan 3:16).<\/p><p>Esto fue prometido hace mucho tiempo y se cumpli\u00f3 por obra del Esp\u00edritu Santo (Isa\u00edas 7:14; Mateo 1:18-25; Lucas 1:26-38). \u00c9l fue el mayor don de Dios y su mensaje final a la humanidad (Hebreos 1:1-4). Esta verdad merece nuestra m\u00e1s profunda reflexi\u00f3n y una proclamaci\u00f3n audaz, que nos lleva a decir: \u201c\u00a1Gracias a Dios por su don inefable!\u201d (2 Corintios 9:15).<\/p><p><strong>Lo m\u00e1s destacado de hoy:<\/strong><br \/><em>El Hijo en quien mora la plenitud, por quien fluyen todas las glorias, <\/em><br \/><em>Has asumido la forma de siervo para que Dios conozca a las criaturas; <\/em><br \/><em>Nuestra fuente, nuestra Cabeza, te adoramos; digno eres por siempre jam\u00e1s.<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The
