Gracias a su muerte, sepultura y resurrecci\u00f3n, podemos vivir una vida semejante a la de Cristo, que glorifica a Dios. \u00c9l es la fuente de toda piedad y nos ha dado todos los recursos que necesitamos para vivir una vida piadosa.<\/p><p>Tito 2:11-12 nos recuerda: \u201cPorque la gracia de Dios que trae salvaci\u00f3n se ha manifestado a todos los hombres, ense\u00f1\u00e1ndonos que, renunciando a la impiedad y a los deseos mundanos, vivamos sobria, justa y piadosamente en este siglo\u201d.\u201d<\/p><p>Fue a trav\u00e9s del Hijo de Dios que lleg\u00f3 la gracia y la verdad (Juan 1:17). Esta misma gracia que nos salva tambi\u00e9n nos santifica, nos sostiene y nos fortalece para vivir una vida que refleje fielmente el car\u00e1cter de Dios.\u201c<\/p><p>Si bien la capacidad de vivir una vida piadosa no reside en nosotros mismos, el Esp\u00edritu de Dios, mediante su gracia, puede generar este estilo de vida en cada uno de nosotros. La obra es suya; sin embargo, somos responsables de permitirle obrar en nuestras vidas. Pedro nos dice: \u201cPoniendo toda diligencia, a\u00f1adan a su fe virtud, a la virtud conocimiento, al conocimiento dominio propio, al dominio propio perseverancia, a la perseverancia piedad, a la piedad afecto fraternal, y al afecto fraternal amor\u201d (2 Pedro 1:5-7).<\/p><p>El Se\u00f1or no solo quiere que tengamos \u201capariencia de piedad\u201d negando su poder (2 Timoteo 3:5). Desea que mostremos una vida de verdadera piedad. \u00c9l es la fuente de esa piedad y quien nos provee los recursos, mediante su Palabra y el poder del Esp\u00edritu Santo, para vivirla para su gloria.<\/p><p>Pedro tambi\u00e9n recuerda a sus lectores los planes futuros de Dios para este mundo y el juicio que aguarda a quienes rechazan a su Hijo. Luego, les plantea a los creyentes esta profunda pregunta: \u201cPor tanto, puesto que todas estas cosas han de desaparecer, \u00bfqu\u00e9 clase de personas deb\u00e9is ser en santa conducta y piedad?\u201d (2 Pedro 3:11).<\/p><p><strong>Lo m\u00e1s destacado de hoy:<\/strong><br \/>Que busquemos vivir vidas que reflejen el car\u00e1cter de Cristo y honren a Aquel que nos ha llamado por su gloria y virtud.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>How Are We To Live?
