La mundanalidad es enemiga de la piedad.<\/p><p>Sabemos que el cristiano tiene tres enemigos fundamentales: el mundo, la carne y el diablo. Se ha se\u00f1alado con frecuencia que la carne lucha contra el Esp\u00edritu (G\u00e1latas 5:17), mientras que el diablo se opone directamente al Se\u00f1or Jesucristo, y el sistema mundano se opone a la justicia de Dios.<\/p><p>Santiago nos recuerda: \u201c\u00bfNo saben que la amistad con el mundo es enemistad con Dios? Cualquiera, pues, que quiera ser amigo del mundo se constituye en enemigo de Dios\u201d (Santiago 4:4). El anciano ap\u00f3stol Juan a\u00f1ade: \u201cNo amen al mundo ni las cosas que est\u00e1n en el mundo. Si alguien ama al mundo, el amor del Padre no est\u00e1 en \u00e9l. Porque todo lo que hay en el mundo \u2014los deseos de la carne, los deseos de los ojos y la vanagloria de la vida\u2014 no proviene del Padre, sino del mundo. Y el mundo pasa, y sus deseos; pero el que hace la voluntad de Dios permanece para siempre\u201d. 1 Juan 2:15-17<\/p><p>Es importante comprender que la mundanalidad no se trata tanto de nuestras actividades \u2014qu\u00e9 hacemos y d\u00f3nde lo hacemos\u2014 sino de nuestras actitudes. Un cristiano puede mantenerse alejado de diversiones cuestionables y lugares dudosos y aun as\u00ed amar al mundo. La mundanalidad es principalmente una cuesti\u00f3n del coraz\u00f3n que afecta tanto nuestros afectos como nuestras ambiciones. Afecta nuestro coraz\u00f3n en relaci\u00f3n con nuestra respuesta al amor de Dios y afecta nuestras acciones en relaci\u00f3n con nuestra obediencia a la voluntad de Dios.<\/p><p>Debemos recordar que el Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas \u201cse entreg\u00f3 a s\u00ed mismo por nuestros pecados, para librarnos de este presente siglo malo, conforme a la voluntad de nuestro Dios y Padre\u201d (G\u00e1l. 1:4).<\/p><p>Tambi\u00e9n es \u00fatil, en la b\u00fasqueda de la piedad, recordar que este mundo est\u00e1 actualmente \u2014aunque solo temporalmente\u2014 bajo el dominio del maligno (Efesios 2:2; 6:12; Juan 12:31; 14:30; 16:11). Como creyentes en Cristo, \u201cel mundo me ha sido crucificado a m\u00ed, y yo al mundo\u201d (G\u00e1latas 6:14), y debemos \u201cmantenernos sin mancha del mundo\u201d (Santiago 1:27).<\/p><p>La mundanalidad se introduce en nuestras vidas gradualmente: primero a trav\u00e9s de la amistad con el mundo (Santiago 4:4), luego al ser detectados por \u00e9l (Santiago 1:27) y finalmente al conformarnos a \u00e9l (Romanos 12:1-2).<\/p><p><strong>Lo m\u00e1s destacado de hoy:<\/strong><br \/>El materialismo es enemigo de la piedad.
