Contra tales cosas no hay ley.\u201d<br \/><strong data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"179\">G\u00e1latas 5:22\u201323<\/strong><\/em><\/p><p data-start=\"226\" data-end=\"571\">Es interesante notar que cuando el ap\u00f3stol <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Pablo el Ap\u00f3stol<\/span><\/span> apareci\u00f3 antes <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Antonio F\u00e9lix<\/span><\/span>, \u201c\u00c9l razon\u00f3 acerca de la justicia, el dominio propio y el juicio venidero\u201d. Porque sois como sepulcros blanqueados, que por fuera parecen hermosos, pero por dentro est\u00e1n llenos de huesos de muertos y de toda inmundicia.\u201d<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1110\" data-end=\"1381\">Seg\u00fan las Escrituras, F\u00e9lix viv\u00eda abiertamente sin autocontrol, mientras que los fariseos aparentaban disciplina, pero interiormente se caracterizaban por la autocomplacencia. Ninguno de los dos sab\u00eda lo que significaba vivir una vida llena del Esp\u00edritu y demostrar verdadero autocontrol.<\/p><p data-start=\"1383\" data-end=\"1592\">El autocontrol a veces se traduce como <em data-start=\"1423\" data-end=\"1435\">templanza<\/em>. Es el poder de gobernar las pasiones y los deseos. El ap\u00f3stol Pablo ilustra esto comparando la vida cristiana con una carrera en 1 Corintios 9:24\u201327: <span style=\"font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, 'Noto Sans', sans-serif, 'Apple Color Emoji', 'Segoe UI Emoji', 'Segoe UI Symbol', 'Noto Color Emoji';\">\u201c\u00bfAcaso no saben que en una carrera todos corren, pero solo uno recibe el premio? Corran de tal manera que lo obtengan. Todo aquel que compite por el premio se disciplina en todo. Ellos lo hacen para obtener una corona perecedera, pero nosotros, una imperecedera. Por eso yo corro as\u00ed: no sin rumbo fijo. As\u00ed peleo: no como quien golpea el aire, sino que disciplino mi cuerpo y lo someto, no sea que, despu\u00e9s de haber predicado a otros, yo mismo quede descalificado.\u201d<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"2088\" data-end=\"2149\"><span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Pedro el ap\u00f3stol<\/span><\/span> Asimismo, nos plantea desaf\u00edos: <span style=\"font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, 'Noto Sans', sans-serif, 'Apple Color Emoji', 'Segoe UI Emoji', 'Segoe UI Symbol', 'Noto Color Emoji';\">\u201cPoniendo toda diligencia, a\u00f1adan a su fe virtud, a la virtud conocimiento, al conocimiento dominio propio, al dominio propio perseverancia, a la perseverancia piedad, a la piedad afecto fraternal, y al afecto fraternal amor\u201d (2 Pedro 1:5\u20137).<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"2389\" data-end=\"2608\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Vivimos en una \u00e9poca caracterizada por la falta de dominio propio (2 Timoteo 3:3).
