\u201cPero el fruto del Esp\u00edritu es amor, gozo, paz, paciencia, benignidad, bondad, fidelidad, mansedumbre, dominio propio. Contra tales cosas no hay ley.\u201d
G\u00e1latas 5:22\u201323<\/strong><\/em><\/p>

La palabra bueno se usa en exceso en nuestra sociedad actual. La usamos para describir todo, desde c\u00f3mo nos sentimos hasta el tipo de persona que es alguien. Sin embargo, el verdadero significado de la palabra bondad<\/em> Tiene que ver con la excelencia moral y espiritual que se expresa a trav\u00e9s de la dulzura y la bondad activa.<\/p>

La bondad va m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de la mera excelencia moral. Romanos 5:7 nos ayuda a comprenderlo: \u201cDif\u00edcilmente morir\u00e1 alguien por un justo; con todo, tal vez alguien se atrever\u00eda a morir por un hombre bueno\u201d. Un cristiano puede ser moralmente \u00edntegro y, sin embargo, no demostrar este aspecto de la bondad, que se caracteriza por la preocupaci\u00f3n abnegada por los dem\u00e1s.<\/p>

En Mateo 1:19 leemos: \u201cEntonces Jos\u00e9, su marido, como era un hombre justo y no quer\u00eda exponerla a la verg\u00fcenza p\u00fablica, decidi\u00f3 repudiarla en secreto\u201d. Jos\u00e9 supon\u00eda que Mar\u00eda le hab\u00eda sido infiel y, siendo un hombre justo, cre\u00eda que no pod\u00eda casarse con ella. Sin embargo, tambi\u00e9n era un buen hombre y, por lo tanto, pretend\u00eda repudiarla en privado en lugar de humillarla p\u00fablicamente.<\/p>

Es importante destacar que la bondad es otra caracter\u00edstica de Dios mismo. \u00c9l es \u201cabundante en bondad y verdad\u201d (\u00c9xodo 34:6-7). El Salmo 100:5 declara: \u201cPorque Jehov\u00e1 es bueno; para siempre es su misericordia, y su verdad permanece de generaci\u00f3n en generaci\u00f3n\u201d.\u201d<\/p>

Siempre que la palabra bien<\/em> Cuando se usa para referirse a Dios, alude al hecho de que \u00c9l es intr\u00ednsecamente bueno. La bondad no es simplemente algo que Dios hace, sino que es quien \u00c9l es. Por eso, cuando el joven rico se acerc\u00f3 al Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas pregunt\u00e1ndole: \u201cBuen Maestro, \u00bfqu\u00e9 debo hacer para heredar la vida eterna?\u201d, el Se\u00f1or le respondi\u00f3: \u201c\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 me llamas bueno? Nadie es bueno sino solo Dios\u201d (Marcos 10:17-18). El Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas quer\u00eda dejar claro que solo Dios es inherente e intr\u00ednsecamente bueno. Sin embargo, en otro pasaje, el Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas se llama a s\u00ed mismo \u201cel Buen Pastor\u201d (Juan 10:11). Como Hijo de Dios, \u00c9l es bueno.<\/p>

El Esp\u00edritu Santo desea producir esta caracter\u00edstica de Cristo en cada uno de nosotros. Se nos instruye a buscar oportunidades para hacer el bien (G\u00e1latas 6:10). Esto solo se puede lograr mediante el poder del Esp\u00edritu de Dios, como Pablo or\u00f3 por los creyentes de Tesal\u00f3nica: \u201cTambi\u00e9n oramos siempre por ustedes para que nuestro Dios los considere dignos de este llamamiento, y cumpla todo el prop\u00f3sito de su bondad y la obra de la fe con poder, para que el nombre de nuestro Se\u00f1or Jesucristo sea glorificado en ustedes, y ustedes en \u00e9l, conforme a la gracia de nuestro Dios y del Se\u00f1or Jesucristo\u201d (2 Tesalonicenses 1:11-12).<\/span><\/p>
