La santificaci\u00f3n posicional se refiere al hecho objetivo de que Dios toma a un pecador y lo convierte en su hijo \u00fanico. \u00c9l aparta a los creyentes como su pueblo especial. El uso del t\u00e9rmino \u201csantificaci\u00f3n\u201d aqu\u00ed se centra en la obra singular del Esp\u00edritu Santo mediante la cual obedecemos el evangelio por fe para ser rociados con la sangre de Cristo.<\/p><p>La santidad posicional se refiere a nuestra posici\u00f3n ante Dios como pueblo especial. Este aspecto de nuestra santificaci\u00f3n es, en realidad, el fundamento de lo que a menudo se denomina santificaci\u00f3n progresiva o pr\u00e1ctica.<\/p><p>La santificaci\u00f3n tiene como prop\u00f3sito desarrollar en nosotros un car\u00e1cter semejante al de Cristo, fomentando la obediencia a lo largo de nuestra vida. Esto es lo que Pedro quiso decir con la frase \u201cpara obedecer y rociar la sangre de Jesucristo\u201d. Esto nos remite a \u00c9xodo 13:2 y 24:3-8, donde la rociada representa la consagraci\u00f3n para el servicio. La rociada alude a la aplicaci\u00f3n de la sangre en el Antiguo Testamento para expiar el pecado. El prop\u00f3sito de los sacrificios del Antiguo Testamento no era simplemente derramar sangre, sino tambi\u00e9n aplicarla.<\/p><p>El poder para vivir una vida de obediencia a Cristo surge de la
