Y dije: \u201cOro, <span class=\"cLIN-SC\">Caballero<\/span> Dios del cielo, oh Dios grande y temible, t\u00fa que guardas tu pacto y tu misericordia con los que te aman y observan tus mandamientos.\u201d<br \/><strong>Nehem\u00edas 1:4\u20135<\/strong><\/em><\/p><\/div><div class=\"LIN-Title\">El libro de Nehem\u00edas es un ejemplo de c\u00f3mo el Se\u00f1or trae avivamiento a trav\u00e9s de un solo hombre que puede marcar la diferencia. Pero no se trata de un solo hombre liderando una protesta ni siquiera de un solo hombre tomando la iniciativa. \u00a1Este avivamiento comienza con un hombre arrodillado ante su Dios! Todo verdadero avivamiento tiene tres caracter\u00edsticas: la oraci\u00f3n, la autoridad de la Palabra de Dios y una renovada sensaci\u00f3n de la presencia de Dios.<\/div><div class=\"LIN-Text\"><p>Primero, Nehem\u00edas se enter\u00f3 de la situaci\u00f3n. Era r\u00e1pido para o\u00edr y lento para hablar (Santiago 1:19). \u00a1Estaba atento! Segundo, se sent\u00f3; no intent\u00f3 solucionar el problema, sino que prefiri\u00f3 quedarse quieto (Salmo 46:10). Tercero, llor\u00f3 por la situaci\u00f3n del pueblo de Dios. No ser\u00eda el \u00faltimo en llorar por Jerusal\u00e9n. En Lucas 19:41, el Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas tambi\u00e9n llor\u00f3 por la ciudad. Cuarto, Nehem\u00edas se lament\u00f3, identific\u00e1ndose con el problema. Quinto, lo vemos ayunando, un ejemplo de abnegaci\u00f3n; no era un comportamiento habitual para este hombre. \u00a1Lo sexto que hizo Nehem\u00edas fue orar! Deposit\u00f3 su preocupaci\u00f3n en el Se\u00f1or y dependi\u00f3 de \u00c9l. La Escritura nos recuerda que la oraci\u00f3n ferviente del justo tiene mucho poder (Santiago 5:16).<\/p><p>\u00a1Qu\u00e9 ejemplo para nosotros hoy! Si el Se\u00f1or ha puesto una carga en tu coraz\u00f3n, no intentes escapar de ella ni cumplirla con tus propias fuerzas. Este avivamiento comienza con gran angustia, pero termina con gran gozo (8:12, 17).
