En 2 Reyes 23, leemos sobre la \u00e9poca idol\u00e1trica en la que naci\u00f3 este joven. Sin embargo, a pesar del entorno en el que creci\u00f3, fue el \u00faltimo rey virtuoso de Jud\u00e1. \u00bfQu\u00e9 caracter\u00edsticas distingu\u00edan a un rey tan bueno, incluso a los ocho a\u00f1os? \u00bfQu\u00e9 marc\u00f3 el avivamiento espiritual que trajo consigo un coraz\u00f3n tan entregado? \u00bfQu\u00e9 lecciones espirituales podemos aplicar a nuestras propias vidas?<\/p><p>Podemos responder a estas preguntas ofreciendo una visi\u00f3n general de la vida de Jos\u00edas, tal como se narra en 2 Cr\u00f3nicas 34. Primero, la renovaci\u00f3n espiritual comienza con la obediencia a la Palabra de Dios. Segundo, se necesita hambre espiritual para que haya avivamiento; n\u00f3tese que Jos\u00edas \u201ccomenz\u00f3 a buscar al Dios de su padre David\u201d (v. 3). Tercero, aprendemos que el avivamiento espiritual solo puede darse en conexi\u00f3n con la Palabra de Dios (vv. 8-21). Cuarto, hay una respuesta espiritual cuando la Palabra de Dios se ense\u00f1a claramente (vv. 29-33), lo cual genera unidad entre el pueblo. Quinto, la verdadera adoraci\u00f3n espiritual es el resultado de una verdadera obra espiritual realizada en los corazones del pueblo. \u00a1La Pascua se celebr\u00f3 y el Se\u00f1or recuper\u00f3 su lugar leg\u00edtimo entre su pueblo!<\/p><p>Todo esto sucedi\u00f3 porque, a los diecis\u00e9is a\u00f1os, este joven comenz\u00f3 a tomarse en serio su relaci\u00f3n con el Se\u00f1or. A los veinte a\u00f1os, empez\u00f3 a erradicar con diligencia todo aquello que no honraba a su Dios (v. 3). A los veintis\u00e9is, estaba profundamente involucrado en las condiciones espirituales de la casa del Se\u00f1or (vv. 8-10). \u00a1Todo esto antes de cumplir los treinta a\u00f1os!<\/p><p>Jos\u00edas se erige como un ejemplo para todos nosotros, sin importar nuestra edad.
