Jes\u00e9 respondi\u00f3: \u201cA\u00fan queda el m\u00e1s joven, que est\u00e1 cuidando las ovejas\u201d. Entonces Samuel le dijo a Jes\u00e9: \u201cEnv\u00eda a buscarlo, porque no nos sentaremos a la mesa hasta que \u00e9l venga\u201d.\u201d<\/em><br \/><em><strong>1 Samuel 16:11<\/strong><\/em><\/p><p data-start=\"130\" data-end=\"646\">En 1 Samuel 16, se nos presentan a j\u00f3venes <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">David<\/span><\/span>. Aqu\u00ed descubrimos que cuidaba las ovejas de su padre en el campo. Piensen por un momento en c\u00f3mo habr\u00eda sido eso; probablemente no lo considerar\u00edamos el entorno natural para la formaci\u00f3n de un futuro rey. Pero eso era precisamente lo que era. David pasaba muchas horas en el campo cuidando las ovejas. Fue tiempo bien empleado, pues fue durante ese tiempo que David aprendi\u00f3 a apreciar la presencia de Dios.<\/p><p data-start=\"648\" data-end=\"988\">Imagina a David en una noche tranquila y oscura, mirando un cielo repleto de estrellas. Mientras contemplaba las innumerables luces, declar\u00f3: \u201cCuando contemplo tus cielos, obra de tus dedos, la luna y las estrellas que t\u00fa has puesto en su lugar, \u00bfqu\u00e9 es el hombre para que te acuerdes de \u00e9l, y el hijo del hombre para que lo visites?\u201d (Salmo 8:3-4).<\/p><p data-start=\"990\" data-end=\"1366\">Este fue el campo de entrenamiento de David, donde se prepar\u00f3 para pastorear al pueblo de Dios. Probablemente fue mon\u00f3tono, pues a menudo repet\u00eda las mismas tareas. Al fin y al cabo, \u00bfqu\u00e9 tan emocionante puede ser realmente cuidar ovejas? Imag\u00ednese la soledad que debieron sentir esas noches. Sin embargo, la soledad de este campo de entrenamiento le ense\u00f1\u00f3 a disfrutar de la presencia de Dios y a hablar con \u00c9l con frecuencia.<\/p><p data-start=\"1368\" data-end=\"1607\">No solo era un campo de entrenamiento solitario y mon\u00f3tono, sino tambi\u00e9n un lugar discreto. Nadie se fijaba en David; nadie ve\u00eda lo que hac\u00eda d\u00eda tras d\u00eda. Esto le ense\u00f1\u00f3 la importancia de la fidelidad: al Se\u00f1or y a las ovejas que le hab\u00edan sido confiadas.<\/p><p data-start=\"1609\" data-end=\"2056\">Fue en ese entorno de aprendizaje que David pudo escribir: \u201cEl Se\u00f1or es mi pastor; nada me faltar\u00e1\u201d. Comprend\u00eda su propia rebeld\u00eda, como la de una oveja que f\u00e1cilmente se aleja del Pastor. Sab\u00eda de su necesidad de la gracia y la gu\u00eda de Dios. Tambi\u00e9n pudo escribir: \u201cEn verdes prados me hace descansar; junto a aguas tranquilas me conduce\u201d. De joven, la vida de David estuvo marcada por la serenidad, y conoci\u00f3 el gozo de la comuni\u00f3n con el Se\u00f1or.<\/p><p data-start=\"2058\" data-end=\"2649\">David no era perfecto, pero su coraz\u00f3n anhelaba la santidad y deseaba que esta se manifestara en su vida. Esto se evidencia en sus palabras: \u201c\u00c9l restaura mi alma; me gu\u00eda por sendas de justicia por amor de su nombre\u201d. Como pastor, David enfrent\u00f3 muchos peligros, pero aprendi\u00f3 a confiar en el Se\u00f1or durante aquellos a\u00f1os de formaci\u00f3n. Tambi\u00e9n aprendi\u00f3 a apreciar la mano protectora y correctora de Dios, como se refleja en sus palabras: \u201cAunque ande en valle de sombra de muerte, no temer\u00e9 mal alguno, porque t\u00fa estar\u00e1s conmigo; tu vara y tu cayado me infundir\u00e1n aliento\u201d.\u201d<\/p><p data-start=\"2651\" data-end=\"2997\">David expres\u00f3 su gratitud por la provisi\u00f3n de Dios cuando escribi\u00f3: \u201cPreparas una mesa delante de m\u00ed en presencia de mis enemigos; unges mi cabeza con aceite; mi copa rebosa\u201d. Tambi\u00e9n revel\u00f3 un coraz\u00f3n entregado a Dios cuando declar\u00f3: \u201cCiertamente el bien y la misericordia me seguir\u00e1n todos los d\u00edas de mi vida, y en la casa del Se\u00f1or morar\u00e9 por siempre\u201d.\u201d<\/p><p data-start=\"2999\" data-end=\"3283\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\"><strong>Lo m\u00e1s destacado de hoy:<\/strong><br \/>Dondequiera que est\u00e9s hoy, ese es el campo de entrenamiento que Dios te ha preparado.
