El Testigo Fiel<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Jesucristo, el testigo fiel, el primog\u00e9nito de entre los muertos y el soberano de los reyes de la tierra. A \u00e9l, que nos am\u00f3 y nos lav\u00f3 de nuestros pecados con su sangre, y nos hizo reyes y sacerdotes para su Dios y Padre, a \u00e9l sea la gloria y el dominio por los siglos de los siglos. Am\u00e9n.
Apocalipsis 1:5\u20136<\/strong><\/em><\/p><\/div>

En los vers\u00edculos de hoy, Juan nos da razones para exaltar al Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas. La primera es que \u00c9l es el testigo fiel. En el libro de Apocalipsis, Juan usa la expresi\u00f3n \u201cfiel\u201d al menos tres veces en relaci\u00f3n con el Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas (1:4-5; 3:14; 19:11). Aqu\u00ed \u00c9l es el testigo fiel. Hubo muchos testigos en esta escena para la gloria de Dios, pero ninguno de ellos estuvo libre de defectos. Solo Uno fue perfecto, sin mancha ni defecto, y solo Uno pod\u00eda ser llamado el testigo fiel. Desde el pesebre hasta la cruz, fue inquebrantable en su servicio. A los doce a\u00f1os lo o\u00edmos decir: \u201c\u00bfNo sab\u00edais que me era necesario estar en los asuntos de mi Padre?\u201d (Lc. 2:49). Este testigo fiel exclam\u00f3: \u201cMi alimento es hacer la voluntad del que me envi\u00f3 y terminar su obra\u201d (Jn. 4:34). \u00c9l era el siervo dependiente que se levantaba temprano por la ma\u00f1ana para recibir instrucciones de su Padre (Mc. 1:35). Como testigo fiel, declaraba: \u201cPara esto he nacido, y para esto he venido al mundo: para dar testimonio de la verdad\u201d (Jn. 18:37).<\/p>

Juan utiliza la palabra \u201ctestigo\u201d al menos 72 veces en sus escritos, refiri\u00e9ndose principalmente al Se\u00f1or. En Apocalipsis 3:14, lo vemos como el \u201cTestigo fiel y verdadero\u201d, en contraste con una iglesia que profesaba su fe y que deb\u00eda ser su testigo hasta su regreso (Hechos 1:8); sin embargo, la iglesia no ha sido un verdadero testigo. En Apocalipsis 19:11, se le presenta como el \u00abFiel y verdadero\u00bb que juzgar\u00e1 con justicia.<\/p>

Juan comienza a exaltar al Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas record\u00e1ndonos que, mientras estuvo aqu\u00ed, \u00a1Cristo fue el testigo fiel de la gloria de Dios!<\/p>
