Juan, a las siete iglesias que est\u00e1n en Asia: Gracia y paz a vosotros de parte de Aquel que es, que era y que ha de venir, y de los siete Esp\u00edritus que est\u00e1n delante de su trono, y de Jesucristo, el testigo fiel, el primog\u00e9nito de entre los muertos y el soberano de los reyes de la tierra.
Apocalipsis 1:4\u20135<\/strong><\/em><\/p><\/div>

Juan dirige este mensaje a las siete iglesias de Asia, ubicadas en lo que hoy es el oeste de Turqu\u00eda. Estas congregaciones exist\u00edan realmente en aquel entonces, pero tambi\u00e9n simbolizan las condiciones que pueden encontrarse en las iglesias actuales. Una tercera perspectiva para interpretar estas siete iglesias es considerarlas como la historia prof\u00e9tica de la Iglesia a lo largo del tiempo.<\/p>

La gracia y la paz, en conjunto, subrayan la unidad que Dios percibe en la iglesia hoy. Esta unidad se manifiesta en estas siete iglesias: si bien son siete congregaciones distintas, est\u00e1n unidas en Cristo.<\/p>

Esta gracia y paz fluyen \u201cde Aquel que es, que era y que ha de venir\u201d. Este es Dios, la fuente de toda bendici\u00f3n (Santiago 1:17; Efesios 1:3). \u00c9l es el eterno, el mismo e inmutable (Malaqu\u00edas 3:6). Estas bendiciones de gracia y paz tambi\u00e9n fluyen \u201cde los siete Esp\u00edritus\u201d. No debemos pensar que existen siete esp\u00edritus diferentes. El siete es el n\u00famero de la perfecci\u00f3n, por lo que esta expresi\u00f3n enfatiza la plenitud del Esp\u00edritu Santo (cf. Isa\u00edas 11:2). \u00c9l es el Esp\u00edritu de gracia (Hebreos 10:29) que produce paz en la vida de los creyentes (G\u00e1latas 5:22).<\/p>

Por \u00faltimo, vemos que esta gracia y paz emanan del Se\u00f1or Jesucristo. Parece que se le menciona al final porque Juan est\u00e1 a punto de exaltar al Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas y desarrollar\u00e1 este tema a lo largo de todo el libro. Contin\u00faa hablando de \u00c9l como el testigo fiel, el primog\u00e9nito de entre los muertos y el soberano de los reyes de la tierra.<\/p>
