Pero yo soy un gusano, y no un hombre; oprobio de los hombres, y despreciado por el pueblo.
Salmo 22:6<\/strong><\/em><\/p><\/div>

En el Salmo 22 hay varias descripciones del Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas que apuntan a su sufrimiento y a su persona y posici\u00f3n \u00fanicas como el Mes\u00edas. Primero, en nuestro vers\u00edculo lo o\u00edmos decir prof\u00e9ticamente: \u201cSoy un gusano, y no un hombre\u201d. Esta palabra para gusano<\/em> Aparece unas 31 veces en el Antiguo Testamento y a menudo se traduce como "escarlata" o "carmes\u00ed".\u201c<\/p>

El gusano al que se hace referencia aqu\u00ed se llama tola; es un peque\u00f1o gusano que se alimenta de plantas y, al ser triturado, produce un hermoso tinte escarlata, permanente y costoso, usado por los ricos. De hecho, el significado literal de la palabra escarlata es \u201cel esplendor del gusano\u201d. Cuando se usa para referirse al Se\u00f1or, nos recuerda que tuvo que ser aplastado para que su gloria y esplendor fueran vistos. Habla de su humillaci\u00f3n a manos de los hombres, de su reproche y de su desprecio por el pueblo. \u00a1Fue aplastado y muerto para que t\u00fa y yo pudi\u00e9ramos vivir y vestirnos con las gloriosas vestiduras de nuestra salvaci\u00f3n!<\/p>

La expresi\u00f3n \u201cy ning\u00fan hombre\u201d significa, en realidad, \u201cun don nadie\u201d. Esto nos recuerda lo que leemos en Filipenses 2:5-7: \u201cCristo Jes\u00fas\u2026 se despoj\u00f3 a s\u00ed mismo, tomando forma de siervo, haci\u00e9ndose semejante a los hombres\u201d.\u201d<\/p>

Otra expresi\u00f3n se encuentra en el Salmo 22:20: \u201cL\u00edbrame de la espada, mi preciosa vida del poder del perro\u201d. La frase \u201cmi preciosa vida\u201d es traducida por algunos como \u201cmi \u00fanico hijo\u201d. Esta expresi\u00f3n se usa cinco veces en el Nuevo Testamento en referencia al Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas como el \u201cunig\u00e9nito\u201d. En G\u00e9nesis 22:2, se usa para referirse a Isaac, quien es una figura del Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas. El Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas es el \u00fanico Hijo eterno de Dios.
