Es tiempo de que los cristianos seamos sal y luz. Esto no lo hacemos siguiendo el modelo mundano de af\u00e1n de poder, sino confrontando la cultura con el amor de Cristo. Esto significa amar a nuestros enemigos, bendecir a quienes nos maldicen, ser mansos y humildes de coraz\u00f3n, y estar dispuestos a sufrir persecuci\u00f3n por amor a su nombre.<\/p><p data-start=\"782\" data-end=\"1416\">\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 har\u00edamos eso? Por el amor de Jes\u00fas. Amamos a nuestro gran Salvador. Y anhelamos profundamente que otros alcancen la salvaci\u00f3n. Los comprendemos porque nosotros tambi\u00e9n fuimos como ellos. Nosotros tambi\u00e9n \u00e9ramos ego\u00edstas, imp\u00edos, ingratos y carentes de amor. Sabemos que los inmorales sexuales, los id\u00f3latras, los ad\u00falteros y los homosexuales no heredar\u00e1n el reino de Dios (1 Corintios 6:9-10). M\u00e1s a\u00fan, entendemos que algunos de nosotros \u00e9ramos as\u00ed, pero fuimos lavados, fuimos santificados. La ira de Dios que pesaba sobre nosotros a causa de nuestros pecados fue llevada por Cristo en la cruz como nuestro Sustituto. Hemos sido justificados en el nombre de Jes\u00fas (1 Corintios 6:11).<\/p><p data-start=\"1418\" data-end=\"2094\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Jes\u00fas ha borrado nuestras iniquidades y ha eliminado nuestra sentencia de muerte. \u00bfQu\u00e9 m\u00e1s podr\u00edamos necesitar? \u00bfQu\u00e9 m\u00e1s podr\u00edamos desear? \u00bfQu\u00e9 tenemos que temer? Por su gran amor por nosotros, nos negamos a nosotros mismos, tomamos nuestra cruz y lo seguimos (Mateo 16:24). Ya no somos deudores de la carne, para vivir seg\u00fan sus dictados (Romanos 8:12). Por medio del Esp\u00edritu, resistimos nuestros deseos pecaminosos porque tenemos un amor mayor: Jesucristo. El mundo vive seg\u00fan la carne, y quienes viven seg\u00fan la carne morir\u00e1n (Romanos 8:13). La paga del pecado a\u00fan pende sobre ellos. No podemos ni participaremos en sus caminos. No volveremos a la esclavitud ahora que Cristo nos ha liberado. Pero llamaremos al mundo perdido a la salvaci\u00f3n en Jes\u00fas, aunque muchos en este mundo nos odien por ello. Continuaremos se\u00f1alando el camino, porque es lo que necesitan m\u00e1s que nada.<\/p><p data-start=\"1418\" data-end=\"2094\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\"><strong>Lo m\u00e1s
