La palabra <em data-start=\"94\" data-end=\"104\">peligroso<\/em> es <em data-start=\"108\" data-end=\"118\">chalepos<\/em> En griego, la palabra conlleva la idea de ser dif\u00edcil, peligroso, dif\u00edcil de manejar o salvaje. Esta misma palabra se usa para describir a dos hombres pose\u00eddos por demonios que viv\u00edan en las tumbas y eran sumamente feroces (Mateo 8:28). Esto nos recuerda lo que Pablo escribi\u00f3 en 1 Timoteo 4:1: \u201cAhora bien, el Esp\u00edritu dice claramente que en los \u00faltimos tiempos algunos se apartar\u00e1n de la fe, prestando atenci\u00f3n a esp\u00edritus enga\u00f1adores y doctrinas de demonios\u201d.\u201d<\/p><p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"535\">Luego describe estos \u00faltimos d\u00edas como un tiempo en el que \u201clos hombres ser\u00e1n ego\u00edstas, amantes del dinero, jactanciosos, orgullosos, blasfemos, desobedientes a los padres, ingratos, imp\u00edos, sin afecto natural, implacables, calumniadores, sin dominio propio, crueles, enemigos de lo bueno, traidores, impulsivos, arrogantes, amantes de los placeres m\u00e1s que de Dios, que tendr\u00e1n apariencia de piedad, pero negar\u00e1n su eficacia\u201d (2 Timoteo 3:2-4).<\/p><p data-start=\"537\" data-end=\"1037\">Al observar el mundo que nos rodea, no es dif\u00edcil creer que vivimos en los \u00faltimos tiempos. \u00a1Las mismas cosas que describe Pablo describen nuestra cultura a la perfecci\u00f3n! Al pensar en todo esto, es f\u00e1cil que nuestros corazones se sientan abrumados y angustiados. Pero las palabras del Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas deber\u00edan brindarnos gran consuelo, pues declar\u00f3: \u201cEstas cosas les he dicho para que en m\u00ed tengan paz. En el mundo tendr\u00e1n aflicci\u00f3n; pero \u00a1\u00e1nimo!, yo he vencido al mundo\u201d (Juan 16:33).<\/p><p data-start=\"1039\" data-end=\"1144\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Como el Gran Vencedor, \u00c9l desea que t\u00fa y yo seamos vencedores y no que nuestra cultura nos venza.<\/p><p class=\"p1\">Ser\u00eda f\u00e1cil dejar que el caos y la confusi\u00f3n de nuestra cultura se apoderaran de nuestras mentes y corazones. Timoteo tambi\u00e9n se sent\u00eda t\u00edmido y temeroso cuando era joven y buscaba vivir para el Se\u00f1or.
