Estaba en el coraz\u00f3n y la mente de Dios desde la eternidad. Antes de que comenzara el tiempo, el plan para nuestra redenci\u00f3n ya estaba establecido, y en el centro de ese plan se encuentra la persona y la obra del Hijo amado de Dios, el Se\u00f1or Jesucristo. Cuando reflexionamos sobre la obra de Cristo, una verdad que se hace maravillosamente clara es esta: \u00c9l muri\u00f3 en nuestro lugar. El Se\u00f1or Jesucristo es nuestro Sustituto.<\/p><p data-start=\"743\" data-end=\"1275\">Mientras que la palabra <em data-start=\"758\" data-end=\"772\">sustituci\u00f3n<\/em> Aunque no aparece expl\u00edcitamente en la Biblia, su veracidad se entrelaza como un hilo escarlata a lo largo de las Escrituras. Una de las im\u00e1genes m\u00e1s claras proviene del conocido relato de G\u00e9nesis 22, cuando Abraham, obedeciendo el mandato de Dios, llev\u00f3 a Isaac al monte Moriah para ofrecerlo en sacrificio. Justo cuando estaba a punto de hacerlo, el Se\u00f1or intervino, y un carnero atrapado en la maleza se convirti\u00f3 en el holocausto: \u201cofrecido en lugar de su hijo\u201d. Esta sencilla frase ilustra la sustituci\u00f3n: uno toma el lugar del otro.<\/p><p data-start=\"1277\" data-end=\"1745\">Esto nos lleva a la pregunta: \u00bfPor qu\u00e9 necesitamos un sustituto? La Biblia no nos deja en la incertidumbre. Romanos 3:23 dice claramente: \u201cTodos han pecado y est\u00e1n destituidos de la gloria de Dios\u201d, y en el cap\u00edtulo 6: \u201cLa paga del pecado es muerte\u201d. Esta es la condici\u00f3n universal de la humanidad: todos somos culpables ante un Dios santo. Pero alabado sea Dios, \u00c9l nos ha provisto una salida: un Sustituto que ocup\u00f3 nuestro lugar, carg\u00f3 con nuestro juicio y nos abri\u00f3 el camino a la vida eterna.<\/p><p data-start=\"2174\" data-end=\"2666\">En el Nuevo Testamento, la idea de sustituci\u00f3n se plasma en frases como \u201cpor nosotros\u201d y \u201cen nuestro lugar\u201d. Consideremos 2 Corintios 5:21: <em data-start=\"2310\" data-end=\"2417\">\u201cAl que no conoci\u00f3 pecado, por nosotros lo hizo pecado, para que nosotros fu\u00e9ramos hechos justicia de Dios en \u00e9l.\u201d<\/em> O 1 Pedro 3:18: <em data-start=\"2435\" data-end=\"2530\">\u201cCristo tambi\u00e9n padeci\u00f3 una sola vez por los pecados, el justo por los injustos, para llevarnos a Dios.\u201d<\/em> Estos no son solo vers\u00edculos doctrinales, son profundamente personales.
