\u201cEntonces Abraham alz\u00f3 la vista y mir\u00f3, y vio detr\u00e1s de \u00e9l un carnero atrapado por los cuernos en un matorral. Abraham fue y tom\u00f3 el carnero, y lo ofreci\u00f3 en holocausto en lugar de su hijo.\u201d<\/em>
G\u00e9nesis 22:13<\/strong><\/em><\/p>

En G\u00e9nesis 22, leemos el conocido relato de Abraham llevando a su amado hijo Isaac a la monta\u00f1a para adorar. Abraham llevaba el fuego e Isaac la le\u00f1a, pero no ten\u00edan un cordero. Dios le hab\u00eda ordenado a Abraham que sacrificara a su hijo, una prueba de su fe, obediencia y amor hacia Dios.<\/p>

En el vers\u00edculo 7, Isaac pregunta:, \u201c\u00bfD\u00f3nde est\u00e1 el cordero para el holocausto?\u201d<\/em><\/p>

\u00a1Esta es la primera vez en la Biblia que aparece la palabra \u201ccordero\u201d! Solo podemos imaginar cu\u00e1n profundamente esta pregunta traspas\u00f3 el coraz\u00f3n de Abraham cuando respondi\u00f3:, \u201cHijo m\u00edo, Dios mismo proveer\u00e1 el cordero para el holocausto.\u201d<\/em><\/p>

Isaac hizo la pregunta, y Juan el Bautista la respondi\u00f3 a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s, declarando:<\/p>

\u201c\u00a1He aqu\u00ed el Cordero de Dios, que quita el pecado del mundo!\u201d<\/em> Juan 1:29<\/p><\/blockquote>

Cuando Abraham puso a Isaac sobre el altar y levant\u00f3 el cuchillo \u2014a punto de clav\u00e1rselo al hijo de su amado\u2014 el \u00c1ngel del Se\u00f1or lo llam\u00f3 desde el cielo, diciendo:, \u201c\u00a1Abraham, Abraham!\u201d<\/em><\/p>

\u00c9l respondi\u00f3, \u201c"Aqu\u00ed estoy."\u201d<\/em><\/p>

Y el \u00e1ngel dijo:<\/p>

\u201cNo pongas tu mano sobre el muchacho, ni le hagas da\u00f1o alguno; porque ahora s\u00e9 que temes a Dios, ya que no me has negado a tu hijo, tu \u00fanico hijo.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>

Abraham alz\u00f3 la vista y vio detr\u00e1s de \u00e9l un carnero atrapado por los cuernos en un matorral. Entonces Abraham tom\u00f3 el carnero y lo ofreci\u00f3 en holocausto en lugar de su hijo.<\/p>

Entonces Abraham llam\u00f3 a aquel lugar El Se\u00f1or Proveer\u00e1, como se dice hasta el d\u00eda de hoy: \u201cEn el monte del Se\u00f1or se proveer\u00e1.\u201d<\/em><\/p>

Para Isaac, hubo un sustituto, atrapado por su fuerza entre las espinas. Esto nos recuerda que, en la fuerza de su amor y obediencia perfectos, el Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas venci\u00f3 el pecado, la muerte y el sepulcro. \u00c9l fue nuestro sustituto.<\/p>

El holocausto habla de la gloria del Padre, y el carnero sustituto apunta a nuestra redenci\u00f3n:<\/p>

\u201c\u2026sabiendo que no fuisteis redimidos con cosas corruptibles, como plata u oro\u2026 sino con la preciosa sangre de Cristo, como de un cordero sin mancha y sin defecto.\u201d <\/em>1 Pedro 1:18\u201319<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>

\u201cPorque tambi\u00e9n Cristo padeci\u00f3 una sola vez por los pecados, el justo por los injustos, para llevarnos a Dios\u2026\u201d <\/em>1 Pedro 3:18<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>
