Porque la gracia de Dios que trae salvaci\u00f3n se ha manifestado a todos los hombres, ense\u00f1\u00e1ndonos que, renunciando a la impiedad y a los deseos mundanos, vivamos sobria, justa y piadosamente en este siglo, aguardando la esperanza bienaventurada y la manifestaci\u00f3n gloriosa de nuestro gran Dios y Salvador Jesucristo, quien se entreg\u00f3 a s\u00ed mismo por nosotros para redimirnos de toda iniquidad y purificar para s\u00ed un pueblo propio, celoso de buenas obras.\u00a0

Al examinar este pasaje con cierta profundidad, vemos c\u00f3mo la gracia de Dios cambia nuestras vidas y centra nuestra atenci\u00f3n en el futuro. La gracia nos ense\u00f1a a ser \u201cEsperando la bienaventurada esperanza y la gloriosa manifestaci\u00f3n de nuestro gran Dios y Salvador Jesucristo.\u201d<\/em> Ayer, consideramos un atisbo de la bendita esperanza. Hoy, queremos centrarnos en lo que Pablo llama \u201cla gloriosa aparici\u00f3n.\u201d<\/em><\/p>

La bienaventurada esperanza est\u00e1 relacionada con la reuni\u00f3n de los santos en el Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas. Su gloriosa aparici\u00f3n, sin embargo, se refiere al momento en que \u00c9l regrese. con<\/strong> Sus santos. Esto se nos presenta en Apocalipsis 19:11-16: \u201cVi el cielo abierto, y he aqu\u00ed un caballo blanco. El que lo montaba se llamaba Fiel y Verdadero, y con justicia juzga y hace la guerra. Estaba vestido con una t\u00fanica te\u00f1ida en sangre, y su nombre es llamado La Palabra de Dios. Y los ej\u00e9rcitos celestiales, vestidos de lino fino, blanco y limpio, lo segu\u00edan en caballos blancos. De su boca sal\u00eda una espada aguda, con la cual herir\u00eda a las naciones; y \u00e9l mismo las gobernar\u00e1 con vara de hierro. \u00c9l mismo pisa el lagar del furor y de la ira del Dios Todopoderoso. Y en su t\u00fanica y en su muslo tiene escrito un nombre: REY DE REYES Y SE\u00d1OR DE SE\u00d1ORES\u201d.\u201d<\/p>

Este es el momento en que Aquel que era \u201cEn el mundo, y el mundo fue hecho por medio de \u00e9l, pero el mundo no le conoci\u00f3. Vino a los suyos, pero los suyos no le recibieron\u201d.\u201d<\/em> (Juan 1:10\u201311) ser\u00e1 reconocido abiertamente y recibir\u00e1 el lugar que le corresponde.<\/p>

Al final de su vida, Pablo pudo decir:
\u201cPorque ya estoy siendo derramado en sacrificio, y el tiempo de mi partida est\u00e1 cerca. He peleado la buena batalla, he terminado la carrera, he guardado la fe. Por lo dem\u00e1s, me est\u00e1 reservada la corona de justicia, la cual me dar\u00e1 el Se\u00f1or, el Juez justo, en aquel d\u00eda; y no solo a m\u00ed, sino tambi\u00e9n a todos los que aman su venida\u201d.\u201d<\/em>(2 Timoteo 4:6\u20138).<\/p>
