Este vers\u00edculo \u2014y muchos otros\u2014 tambi\u00e9n deja claro que hay un solo Mediador entre Dios y la humanidad.<\/p><p data-start=\"551\" data-end=\"862\">Job describi\u00f3 la necesidad de un mediador cuando pregunt\u00f3:, <em data-start=\"604\" data-end=\"650\">\u201c\u00bfPero c\u00f3mo puede un hombre ser justo ante Dios?\u201d<\/em> Luego continu\u00f3 diciendo:, <em data-start=\"675\" data-end=\"748\">\u201cNi hay mediador entre nosotros que pueda poner su mano sobre ambos\u201d.\u201d<\/em> (Job 9:1\u20132, 33). Esto describe maravillosamente la labor de un mediador: aquel que re\u00fane a dos partes separadas.<\/p><p data-start=\"864\" data-end=\"1320\">El pecado ha separado a la humanidad de Dios, pero el Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas vino al mundo para traernos de vuelta a Dios. Solo \u00c9l califica como nuestro Mediador porque es el Hijo de Dios que se hizo Hijo del Hombre: plenamente Dios y plenamente hombre, pero sin pecado. Nosotros no podr\u00edamos hacer nada para interceder por nosotros mismos ante Dios. Ninguna cantidad de buenas obras podr\u00eda hacernos justos a sus ojos, porque <em data-start=\"1219\" data-end=\"1305\">\u201cTodos nosotros somos como algo inmundo, y todas nuestras justicias como trapos sucios\u201d.\u201d<\/em> (Isa\u00edas 64:6).<\/p><p data-start=\"1322\" data-end=\"1652\">Nos presentamos ante Dios como pecadores culpables, y por eso necesit\u00e1bamos un Mediador entre Dios y los hombres. En la Cruz, el Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas se interpuso entre un Dios santo y la humanidad pecadora y, como lo describi\u00f3 Job, puso su mano sobre ambos. Se ofreci\u00f3 a s\u00ed mismo una vez para siempre como sacrificio por el pecado, un sacrificio que jam\u00e1s se repetir\u00e1 (Hebreos 7:27; 9:9, 9:28; 10:2).<\/p><p data-start=\"1654\" data-end=\"2143\">El Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas es el \u00fanico Mediador entre Dios y el hombre. Hebreos 9:14-15 nos dice:<br data-start=\"1739\" data-end=\"1742\" \/><em data-start=\"1742\" data-end=\"2143\">\u201c\u00bfCu\u00e1nto m\u00e1s la sangre de Cristo, quien por medio del Esp\u00edritu eterno se ofreci\u00f3 a s\u00ed mismo sin mancha a Dios, limpiar\u00e1 vuestra conciencia de las obras muertas para servir al Dios vivo? Por esta raz\u00f3n, \u00c9l es el mediador del nuevo pacto, mediante su muerte, para la redenci\u00f3n de las transgresiones cometidas bajo el primer pacto, a fin de que los llamados reciban la promesa de la herencia eterna.\u201d<\/em><\/p><p data-start=\"2145\" data-end=\"2540\">Como nuestro Mediador, el Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas <em data-start=\"2177\" data-end=\"2211\">\u201cSe ofreci\u00f3 a s\u00ed mismo como rescate por todos.\u201d<\/em> La palabra rescate significa <em data-start=\"2238\" data-end=\"2272\">pagar el precio para liberar a un esclavo<\/em>\u2014y \u00e9ramos esclavos del pecado. Si bien la muerte de Cristo fue suficiente para todos, solo aquellos que conf\u00edan en \u00c9l reciben sus beneficios salv\u00edficos. Jes\u00fas dijo de s\u00ed mismo:, <em data-start=\"2425\" data-end=\"2523\">\u201cEl Hijo del Hombre no vino para ser servido, sino para servir y para dar su vida en rescate por muchos.\u201d<\/em> (Mateo 20:28).<\/p><p data-start=\"2542\" data-end=\"2626\">\u00bfEres uno de tantos? \u00bfPuedes decir hoy: \u00c9l es mi Mediador, \u00c9l es mi Salvador?<\/p><p data-start=\"2542\" data-end=\"2626\"><strong>Lo m\u00e1s destacado de hoy:<\/strong><br \/>Como Mediador, Cristo es Aquel que sali\u00f3 de Dios para hablar y actuar en nombre de Dios, y que entr\u00f3 en Dios para actuar y hablar en nombre del hombre.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Mediator For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.1 Timothy 2:5\u20136 One of the most fundamental teachings in the Word of God is that there is one God.
