Paz en la Tierra<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\u201cY de repente apareci\u00f3 con el \u00e1ngel una multitud de \u00e1ngeles celestiales que alababan a Dios y dec\u00edan: \u2018\u00a1Gloria a Dios en las alturas, y en la tierra paz a los hombres de buena voluntad!\u2019\u201d<\/em>
Lucas 2:14<\/em>
<\/strong><\/p>

La multitud de la hueste celestial alab\u00f3 a Dios diciendo:, \u201c\u00a1Gloria a Dios en las alturas, y en la tierra paz y buena voluntad para con los hombres!\u201d<\/em> Centr\u00e1ndonos en la segunda parte de ese tema, aprendemos que la venida del Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas no fue solo para la gloria de Dios, sino tambi\u00e9n para el bien de la humanidad. La frase \u201cEn la tierra, paz y buena voluntad entre los hombres\u201d<\/em> podr\u00eda entenderse como, \u201cEn la tierra, paz entre aquellos en quienes \u00c9l se complace.\u201d<\/em> Esto no significa que una persona pueda agradar a Dios mediante buenas obras; las Escrituras dejan claro que la salvaci\u00f3n no se obtiene por obras (Efesios 2:8-9). La paz que proclamaron los \u00e1ngeles es la paz con Dios, que resulta de la salvaci\u00f3n.<\/p>

Romanos 5:1 lo dice claramente: \u201cPor lo tanto, habiendo sido justificados por la fe, tenemos paz con Dios por medio de nuestro Se\u00f1or Jesucristo.\u201d<\/em> Pedro tambi\u00e9n habl\u00f3 de este mensaje: \u201cLa palabra que Dios envi\u00f3 a los hijos de Israel, anunciando la paz por medio de Jesucristo; \u00c9l es Se\u00f1or de todos\u201d.\u201d<\/em> (Hechos 10:36).<\/p>

La posibilidad de esta paz fluye del coraz\u00f3n de un Dios amoroso que es \u201cPaciente para con nosotros, no queriendo que ninguno perezca, sino que todos procedan al arrepentimiento\u201d<\/em> (2 Pedro 3:9). El Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas tom\u00f3 sobre s\u00ed en la cruz el castigo que nos trajo paz (Isa\u00edas 53:5), haciendo posible nuestra reconciliaci\u00f3n con Dios. Esta reconciliaci\u00f3n se produce mediante la fe en su obra consumada. Pablo escribe:, \u201cPorque si, cuando \u00e9ramos enemigos, fuimos reconciliados con Dios por la muerte de su Hijo, mucho m\u00e1s, habiendo sido reconciliados, seremos salvos por su vida.\u201d<\/em> (Romanos 5:10).<\/p>

Lo explica adem\u00e1s en 2 Corintios 5:18\u201319: \u201cAhora bien, todo esto proviene de Dios, quien nos reconcili\u00f3 consigo mismo por medio de Jesucristo, y nos dio el ministerio de la reconciliaci\u00f3n; es decir, que Dios estaba en Cristo reconciliando al mundo consigo mismo, no tom\u00e1ndoles en cuenta sus pecados, y nos encarg\u00f3 la palabra de la reconciliaci\u00f3n.\u201d<\/em><\/p>

Dios es llamado el Dios de paz cinco veces en el Nuevo Testamento (Rom. 15:33; 16:20; Fil. 4:9; 1 Tes. 5:23; Heb. 13:20). El Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas prometi\u00f3 a sus disc\u00edpulos, \u201cMi paz os doy\u201d<\/em> (Juan 14:27). Esta paz viene por medio de la fe: \u201cQue el Dios de la esperanza los llene de toda alegr\u00eda y paz al creer, para que rebosen de esperanza por el poder del Esp\u00edritu Santo.\u201d<\/em> (Romanos 15:13).<\/p>
