Gloria a Dios<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Y de repente apareci\u00f3 con el \u00e1ngel una multitud de \u00e1ngeles del cielo que alababan a Dios y dec\u00edan: \u201c\u00a1Gloria a Dios en las alturas, y en la tierra paz a los hombres de buena voluntad!\u201d <\/em>
Lucas 2:14<\/strong><\/em><\/p>

Cuando el \u00e1ngel anunci\u00f3 a los pastores en el campo que el Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas hab\u00eda nacido en Bel\u00e9n, leemos que otros \u00e1ngeles se unieron a \u00e9l para alabar a Dios. Un \u00e1ngel trajo la noticia, pero una multitud de \u00e1ngeles respondi\u00f3 a este glorioso anuncio. Su mensaje era doble: gloria a Dios y paz en la tierra. Esta multitud de \u00e1ngeles glorificaba a Dios en las alturas, es decir, en el cielo. Y en la tierra, en el otro extremo, proclamaban la paz entre los hombres.<\/p>

Consideremos el primero de estos dos temas: la gloria a Dios.<\/p>

El nacimiento del Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas glorific\u00f3 a Dios porque anunciaba una vida que glorificar\u00eda a un Dios santo y justo. Cuando el pecado entr\u00f3 en el mundo por la desobediencia de un hombre, la muerte y el pecado se extendieron a toda la humanidad, pues todos han pecado y est\u00e1n destituidos de la gloria de Dios (Romanos 5:12; 3:23). El pecado, de cualquier tipo, es una afrenta a la santidad y la gloria de Dios; sus ojos son demasiado puros para contemplar el mal, y no pueden mirar la maldad (Habacuc 1:13).<\/p>

Sin embargo, en el coraz\u00f3n de Dios \u2014antes de que comenzara el tiempo\u2014 ya exist\u00eda un plan para lidiar con el problema del pecado. Cuando lleg\u00f3 la plenitud del tiempo, Dios envi\u00f3 a su Hijo (G\u00e1latas 4:4) con este prop\u00f3sito. A los doce a\u00f1os, el Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas pudo decir: \u201c\u00bfNo sab\u00edan que me era necesario estar en los asuntos de mi Padre?\u201d (Lucas 2:49). En el pozo de Sicar, les dijo a sus disc\u00edpulos: \u201cMi alimento es hacer la voluntad del que me envi\u00f3 y terminar su obra\u201d (Juan 4:34). En Juan 5:30 lo o\u00edmos decir: \u201cNo busco mi voluntad, sino la voluntad del Padre que me envi\u00f3\u201d, y de nuevo en Juan 6:38: \u201cPorque he descendido del cielo, no para hacer mi voluntad, sino la voluntad del que me envi\u00f3\u201d.\u201d<\/p>

Luego, en Juan 17:4, justo antes de la cruz, nuestro Se\u00f1or declar\u00f3: \u201cYo te he glorificado en la tierra; he terminado la obra que me encomendaste\u201d. Y estando en la cruz, proclam\u00f3 triunfalmente: \u201c\u00a1Consumado es!\u201d (Juan 19:30).<\/p>

Al venir a este mundo, al vivir una vida perfecta y al morir una muerte perfecta, \u00c9l glorific\u00f3 a Dios en lo m\u00e1s alto. \u201cDios es glorificado en \u00c9l\u201d (Juan 13:31). \u00a1No es de extra\u00f1ar que la alabanza llenara los cielos con el nacimiento de nuestro Se\u00f1or Jesucristo!<\/p>
