\u201cNo teman. Les traigo buenas noticias de gran alegr\u00eda que ser\u00e1n para todo el pueblo. Hoy, en la ciudad de David, les ha nacido un Salvador; \u00e9l es Cristo el Se\u00f1or.\u201d
Lucas 2:10\u201311<\/strong><\/em><\/p>

Mientras el Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas nac\u00eda en la ciudad de Bel\u00e9n, fuera de la ciudad, los pastores velaban por sus ovejas aquella noche. \u201cY he aqu\u00ed que un \u00e1ngel del Se\u00f1or se les apareci\u00f3, y la gloria del Se\u00f1or los rode\u00f3 de luz, y tuvieron gran temor.\u201d<\/em> Es interesante observar que cada vez que aparece un \u00e1ngel en los relatos del nacimiento de nuestro Se\u00f1or, las personas a quienes se les aparece sienten temor: Mar\u00eda en Lucas 1:30, Jos\u00e9 en Mateo 1:20, incluso unos meses antes Zacar\u00edas sinti\u00f3 temor (Lucas 1:12-13), y ahora los pastores sienten gran temor cuando la gloria del \u00e1ngel los rodea. \u00bfQui\u00e9n de nosotros no sentir\u00eda temor si un \u00e1ngel apareciera entre nosotros, resplandeciente?<\/p>

Esta palabra brill\u00f3<\/em> Se utiliza solo una vez m\u00e1s en el Nuevo Testamento: cuando el Se\u00f1or se apareci\u00f3 a Saulo de Tarso: \u201cAl mediod\u00eda, oh rey, vi en el camino una luz del cielo, m\u00e1s brillante que el sol, que resplandec\u00eda a mi alrededor y alrededor de los que viajaban conmigo\u201d.\u201d<\/em> (Hechos 26:13).<\/p>

Al considerar el temor que se apoder\u00f3 de cada uno de los presentes en el nacimiento del Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas, mi mente regres\u00f3 al Jard\u00edn del Ed\u00e9n, a Ad\u00e1n y Eva. Nunca hab\u00edan conocido el temor hasta que el pecado entr\u00f3 en el mundo. Cuando el Se\u00f1or llam\u00f3 a Ad\u00e1n, leemos que Ad\u00e1n respondi\u00f3:, \u201cO\u00ed tu voz en el jard\u00edn, y tuve miedo porque estaba desnudo; y me escond\u00ed.\u201d<\/em> (G\u00e9nesis 3:10). Observe las tres cosas que el pecado trajo consigo: culpa y temor.\u201cTen\u00eda miedo\u201d,\u201d<\/em>\u2014y verg\u00fcenza\u2014\u201cPorque estaba desnudo.\u201d<\/em> El pecado trajo consigo la culpa, el miedo y la verg\u00fcenza, y el mundo ha sufrido estas tres cosas desde entonces.<\/p>

Somos culpables ante un Dios santo porque \u201cTodos han pecado y est\u00e1n privados de la gloria de Dios.\u201d<\/em> Tememos porque \u201cEs algo terrible caer en manos del Dios vivo\u201d<\/em> (Hebreos 10:31). Y experimentamos verg\u00fcenza a causa de nuestro pecado.<\/p>

Pero la palabra que rodea el nacimiento de nuestro Se\u00f1or es \u201c\u00a1No tengas miedo!\u201d<\/em> El \u00e1ngel les dijo a los pastores:, \u201cLes traigo buenas noticias de gran alegr\u00eda que ser\u00e1n para todo el pueblo.\u201d<\/em> El Se\u00f1or Jesucristo vino a demostrar el amor de Dios, y \u201cEn el amor no hay temor; el amor perfecto echa fuera el temor, porque el temor implica castigo. Pero el que teme no ha sido perfeccionado en el amor\u201d.\u201d<\/em> (1 Juan 4:18).<\/p>

En la cruz, el Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas\u2014\u201cAquel que no conoci\u00f3 pecado\u201d<\/em>-era \u201cFue hecho pecado por nosotros, para que nosotros fu\u00e9ramos hechos justicia de Dios en \u00e9l\u201d.\u201d<\/em> (2 Corintios 5:21). \u00c9l tom\u00f3 nuestra culpa y verg\u00fcenza, \u201cel justo por los injustos, para llevarnos a Dios.\u201d <\/em>Su muerte explica su nacimiento.<\/p>
