Entonces los escribas y los fariseos le trajeron una mujer sorprendida en adulterio. Y poni\u00e9ndola en medio, le dijeron: \u201cMaestro, esta mujer fue sorprendida en adulterio, en el acto mismo. Mois\u00e9s, en la ley, nos mand\u00f3 apedrear a tales mujeres. \u00bfQu\u00e9 dices t\u00fa?\u201d

<\/em><\/p>


Este encuentro con la mujer sorprendida en adulterio ocupa los primeros once vers\u00edculos de Juan 8. Da inicio a un cap\u00edtulo lleno de contrastes y conflictos: gracia y ley (vv. 1-11), luz y oscuridad (vv. 12-20), vida y muerte (vv. 21-30), libertad y esclavitud (vv. 31-47), honor y deshonra (vv. 48-59). Pero comienza con esta mujer teniendo un encuentro directo y transformador con el Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas.<\/p>

A diferencia de la mujer con flujo de sangre \u2014que se encuentra en Mateo 9, Marcos 5 y Lucas 8\u2014 que vino voluntariamente y con esperanza al Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas, esta mujer no vino por elecci\u00f3n. Ella fue forzado<\/em> para venir, arrastrada a los patios del templo tras ser sorprendida en el acto mismo de adulterio. Toda la escena parece casi escenificada, porque la primera pregunta que hay que hacerse es: \u00bfD\u00f3nde est\u00e1 el hombre?<\/strong><\/p>

La ley establec\u00eda claramente que ambos<\/em> Los participantes sorprendidos en adulterio deb\u00edan rendir cuentas (Lev\u00edtico 20:10; Deuteronomio 22:22). Esta mujer estaba siendo utilizada como cebo en su intento de tenderle una trampa al Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas. Sin embargo, el Se\u00f1or conoc\u00eda a todos los hombres y sab\u00eda lo que hab\u00eda en sus corazones (Juan 2:24-25). Conoc\u00eda los corazones de sus acusadores y el coraz\u00f3n de la mujer que estaba ante \u00c9l.<\/p>

En lugar de juzgarla inmediatamente, la juzg\u00f3. los jueces<\/strong> y dijo, \u201cEl que de vosotros est\u00e9 libre de pecado, que arroje la primera piedra.\u201d <\/em>Seg\u00fan la Ley, los acusadores deb\u00edan arrojar las primeras piedras (Deuteronomio 17:7). Condenados por su propia conciencia, comenzaron a marcharse, empezando por el mayor y terminando por el menor (v. 9).<\/p>

La mujer se qued\u00f3 sola con el Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas. \u00c9l, el Inmaculado, era el \u00fanico presente con derecho a condenarla. Quiz\u00e1s esperaba que el juicio brotara de sus justos labios. Pero en cambio, escuch\u00f3 estas palabras llenas de gracia: \u201cYo tampoco te condeno; vete y no peques m\u00e1s.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>

Su santa presencia expuso cada coraz\u00f3n ese d\u00eda, y \u00c9l contin\u00faa declarando, \u201cYo soy la luz del mundo. El que me sigue no andar\u00e1 en tinieblas, sino que tendr\u00e1 la luz de la vida.\u201d<\/em><\/p>
